'school, school, school, i never saw the point of it!' i thought to myself as my car rolled into the parking lot. it was just another boring day of my boring life.
'hey, Kayla!' i heard my girls, Kristie and Ella, shout from the pavement. i casually got out of my car and walked over to them, trying not to give out any signs of my rotten mood.
'hey!' i said, trying to be happy as i hugged them both. ' how r u?'
'amazing!! have u seen the new boy over there??' Kristie screeched.
'he's soooo hot!! he's gonna melt us all like butter!!' Ella cried while fanning herself. gosh, i never realised how perfetic my friends could get. i mean he's just one guy! he couldnt be that amazing!!
'sure..' i said boredly as i started walking into the main school building towards my locker.
'y arent u getting excited?? and going to check him out??' Ella asked, while trying to pull me back outside. i threw her hand off me.
'because we're not kids anymore!! we're 17!! we need to all grow up!!' i shouted in their faces. i regretted the words. i could see the hurt on their faces and i hugged them tightly. ' sorry, i'm just in a rotten mood today!!' i cried
'it's ok! we'll always love you no matter what!!' kristie cried as well, as we carried on hugging.
'anyway, lets get going!' i said poiltely and forcing myself to smile as i dragged my friends to our lockers. we quickly got our books for the day and hurried off to our first lessons. unfortunately, neither Kristie or Ella were in my lesson, English.
when i entered the classroom i quickly took my seat at the front of the class on my own. i never had anyone sit next to me as i found i worked better when i was alone and english was one subject i wanted to do well in.
'class, we have a new student mr. damon salvatore' mr. adams said boringly as he pointed at the seat next to me. the boy, damon, quickly took his seat and the moment my eyes touched his face, i understood wot my friends had been talkin about. he was amazing!!
he was rather tall and skinny with jet black hair that was cutely styled. he was wearing a plain t-shirt with a leather jacket and jeans. and my god,his eyes were blue crystals which glistened on his perfect face. i struggled to breathe as i absorbed his beautiful complection. unfortunately his charm ran out wen i he started speaking.
' u can have a piece of me if u want?' he said flirtily, while checking me out and smirking. he was cocky!! and most probably going to be an arse!! i sighed as i realised that no man was perfect.
'no thanks, i prefer my men with a little more class!' i said horridly, while facing the teacher and trying to block him completely from my view.
' well, your loss!' he laughed as he carried on smirking. i wanted to reply with a smart comeback, but i decided to comletely ignore him. unfortunately, that was harder said than done, especially wen he was constantly flirting with Daisy, the girl who sat on the row behind us. i couldnt understand y it bothered me so much.
when english was finally over i was so glad. i quickly rushed out of the room to my next lesson, Biology. luckily for me, Kristie was there. unluckily, so was damon....
