Please repost this so we can raise awareness about inhumane treatment on farms
On farms, animals are killed brutally and inhumanely. Farms cram them into crates, the workers throw and shove them into the crates. Breaking many of their bones. They inject them with hormones and many other chemicals just because people want more meat.
This causes them to be so overweight that their bones can no longer support their immense weight. Chickens are shackled upside down on a conveyor belt so their heads can be sliced of by a blade. Some aren't even lucky enough for that and get dropped into the boiling hot water; alive and conscious. Sometimes farms skip the slicing process and just drop them into the boiling hot water. In Vermont pigs are slices,shocked and skinned live.
They keep their animals in small shelters, with little to none water. Never to see daylight, crammed together. They even cut off their beaks to keep them from fighting. This causes many problems. Infections and unable to eat or drink. Many die from starvation before they can be killed. This isn't even the worst. Much more then this happens. People no longer care for animals. They just want meat.
But you can help! You can go vegetarian or vegan. But if you don't want to you can buy organic meats. You can even find cruelty-free meats! Please help stop this inhumane,brutal, barbaric treatment of animals.

About a year ago I read the Omnivore's Dilemma and it said exactly all of that and that book had me in tears because I then realized that chickens and cow in CAFO live the worst lives there are to live. STOP CAFO NOW!!!!!! tries to start a riot against CAFO
I reposted this a while ago. I am vegetarian and all the dairy products I eat are organic. It's horrible what people do. I watched a documentary (Food Inc.) and I showed so much horrible stuff. They take those tiny, helpless yellow fuzzballs of baby chickens and stable tags to their wings (no anesthetic) then throw them on a conveyor
belt that dumps them into this huge container where they are stacked on top of each other. They are still living creatures! The people who do thus are heartless!!
Awww, poor baby chicks!!
