You have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please have your school items with you when you come to school on September the First. Please do not be late for the train leaves from King's Cross Station at 11 o'clock sharp.

If I had read the letter only once I would never forget it. Never. My name is Cyra. I live with my mum in a flat in London. I have not seen my father since I was 9 years old because he was an abusive drunkard who locked me in the wardrobe when I made a slight mistake. I'm 11 now and going to Hogwarts. I hope to make friends. Never really have any. Maybe I'll find someone who will care. Someone who I can tell my Dark secrets. Will I be as alone there as I am here siting in my dark room? I hope not. I get on my knees and say, "Please, who ever's watching me, let me have at least one friend. I lay down an hoped it would be come true.
