i brushed my hair and put it in a ponytail, then brushed my teeth and went downstairs.

As i was eating my breakfast i heard the post being pushed through the letter box, i got up and walked to the front door and picked up the letters on the mat, but what i was waiting for wasn't there.i turned to go back into the kitchen to finish my breakfast, when the doorbell rang, i walked back to the front door and opened it.

and a boy, who was wearing a black t-shirt with black jeans and black trainers he had black hair, which was very greasy, and very dark eyes that were nearly black, which made his already pale skin seem even paler.
I looked at them "Lily, Severus what are you doing here so early?" i said.
It was Lily who spoke first, "We got our Letters this morning." she had a huge smile on her face. "did you get yours?"
"Not yet." i let them both in and we went into the kitchen and i finished my breakfast while we talked.
"you'll get one don't worry." said Severus.
"i know i will, it's just it hasn't come yet and you both have yours and they usually send them all out at the same time." i looked out the kitchen window hoping to see an owl.
You see this letter would tell me i was accepted into a school and not just any school, Hogwarts, which is a school where you learn magic my parents went, in fact my entire family went and i'd used magic before, i'm also a pure blood, so i should get accepted.
Lily Evans and Severus Snape both lived on the same street as me and were my best friends. Lily lived with her parents and her younger sister Petunia, they were muggles,non-magical people, so Lily was a muggle-born witch.
Severus is an only child, like me, and lives with his mum and dad, his mum is a witch and his dad is a muggle, so Severus was a half-blood wizard.
Me and Severus were really happy when we realised Lily was a witch, because it meant that we wouldn't be leaving Lily on her own, but from what it looked like, they would be leaving me.

We spent the entire day watching tv, talking about Hogwarts and just messing around. My mum had said that Lily and Severus could both stay for dinner and they could stay the night too.
About half way through dinner the door bell rang, "I'll get it mum." i said as i got up and walked to the front door. I opened the door to see a tall man with long white hair and a long white beard, he wore long light blue robes, had half-moon spectacles and he had light blue eyes. I instantly knew who he was, "Dumbledore."
"Good evening Amber, may i come in?" he said, i stepped aside and let him in, i shut the door and led him into the kitchen where my mum, Lily and Severus were still eating. When i walked in my mum looked up.
"Dumbledore, how nice to see you would you like a drink?" my mum asked him as he sat down.
"No thank you, i won't be long, i just came to drop something of for Amber." i looked at him and he took something out of his pocket and held it out for me, i took it off him and looked at it a smile growing on my face as i did, it was my letter.
"How come it didn't come by owl?" i asked.
"Well the owl sent out dropped it before it even left the owlery so i decided to bring it myself." he said smiling at me"i better be going nice to see you andi'll see you three at Hogwarts." he got up and i walked him to the door when he got to the end of the drive he turned on the spot and disappeared.

I couldn't stop smiling i was going to Hogwarts with my two best friends and i couldn't wait.
