Daddy. Why did you have to take those drugs? Why did you have to get caught? You left Mom, Hope, and me alone to get by. You're probably dead by now. I love you still, Daddy. Mom has a boyfriend. I don't think Hope cares anymore. I care. Most of my friends don't know about you. They don't suspect anything. I put on a brave face everyday for you. I looked over the edge into the murky water. Your favorite place, Daddy. I wish you could see it once more. My boyfriend, Casey, just says I don't need to think about you all the time. What does Casey know? He doesn't know how much I love you. I leaned just a little bit more over the edge of the bridge. Daddy, I'll see you soon. "FAITH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" my twin yelled at me. She grabbed my arm and pulled me up. "Hope! I was about to see Daddy again!" I screamed at her with tears in my eyes. She seemed as sad as me and she wrapped me in her arms. "Come on. Let's go home," she whispered. I shook my head no. "Casey is at home," she tempted me. "I don't want to see Casey! I want to see Daddy!" I whispered-screamed. "Remember why Mom named you Katherine Faith and me Kaitlyn Hope?" Hope said softly. "She thought that that would give you faith and give me hope." Cold tears ran down my cheeks. My sister steered me home. I flopped onto my bed and stared at the picture of me and my father. Daddy.... I wish you were here....
