Love Struck

Ro woke up to a blur of bright sapphire and the sound of faint meaningless voices. "Hi" She said as she smiled and continued to stare into Riven's beautiful blue eyes. "Hi" He replied as he returned the smile. The look in Riven's eyes seemed to drown out the noise of the TV echoing in the background. Coming to her senses Ro asked "What's the time?" as she began to sit up on the couch. "No idea" said Riven also sitting up, while grabbing a half empty bowl of popcorn off the table. "We must have stayed up all night, just watching Scrubs episode" Ro said smiling. Riven laughed carelessly "I can honestly say it was the best date I've ever been on" Ro paused in the act of picking up the TV remote. She turned to face him "...So... it was a date?" she asked. Realizing what he'd just said, Riven tried to think of something to say eventually managing to speak "Well... I don't know... if you want it to be..." Ro thought for a moment before acting impulsively; she leaned over and gave Riven a kiss on the check. "Does that answer your question?" She said now blushing. Riven said nothing but the confused smile on his face said it all. They looked at each other for what felt like ages, it wasn't until Riven said awkwardly "Uh, so time for season 4?" did they move. He got up to change the DVD and as he did Ro lay down on the couch eyes close, smiling: love struck.
