A Wolf's Silver Heart
Sam had always liked her. Being her friend and all. But she likes, no loves, Ryan, who definently hates her. Sam can't bear it untill one day, Red proclaimed her undying love to him in the village clearing. In embarrasment she fled into the woods, the home of the Grey Wolf, vanishing forever. Or so Sam thinks.
I sobbed helplessly, I ran through the woods wondering why did I say that! Why!! Everybody knew he hated me, the last thing I wanted was to say, "I love, please be mine!" Oh! How embarrasing! I let out a sob. I opened my eyes to meet yellow ones. A low growl rumbled from the creatures throaght. Searing pain shot up my arm as the creature bit me. I screamed and my scream turned into a howl.
I ran frantically around calling her name.
"Red!" I said, and my voice bounced back. I thought of what to say when I herocally save her. I felt brambles scratch my face and entered a clearing. I saw ripped clothing, Red's beautiful red cloak was tattered and the ground was bloody. I couldn't breath. She was dead! The whole time I was planning to save her and annouce my lover for her, and she was DEAD? I heard footsteps and turned around it was Ryan smirking.
"She is dead fool!" Ryan hissed and smiled, "Gone, forever, slowly being digested by the Grey Wolf. You will die here with her. Ironic, a fool loves a fool who loves me!" He cackled and left me behind. I heard steps again.
"Why are you back!" I scowled angrily, "Go away!" I turned around and saw a wolf with black fur, and a bright red mark traveled from the wolf's head to the tip of its tail.
"You!" I yelled, "You killed her!" The wolf's eyes went huge and I swear, I could hear it chuckling. It smiled. No, that wasn't possible, wolves cant smile!
I yanked out Red's dagger from her cloak and got into a battle position. The wolf looked sad and stared at me wiht scared eyes. I dropped the dagger. Something about the wolf, reminded me of.... I blinked. No.
