Another Anime Story

"Dad?" I call, and walked in our little ranch. I begin to look around, but all I saw was boxes. "Dad, what's going on here?" My dad looks up behind a stack of boxes. "Oh, hello my little social butterfly...How was school?"
"Um good...What's going on here?" I stare at him as he walks over to me.
"Melody, I know this has been hard on you, with your mother dying... I've gotten a new job..." He waits for my reaction but I just stare at him and nod for him to continue. "I've gotten a job as a banker in a small suburban town...You should go pack." I stare at him, and suddenly burst into tears... It had been the first time I had 'really' cried in three whole months. Since Mom had died...
"Dad no!" I yell at him, "Wh-what about my friends? It took me forever to...I'm sorry- No- wait no!" Dad walks over to me and hugs me.
"Mel-...Sweetie I'm sorry, the town is lovely. I just know you're going to love it." I sniffle, trying my best not to be too selfish but it was almost impossible to do at this time.
" I-I'm g-going to go pack." I stutter, and Dad pats my back and kisses my forehead. I rush upstairs and began to pack.
The drive to the small town took forever, but dad was right it was beautiful, when we got out of the car their was a giant beautiful house but it was a town-house. Still, it was really pretty to me since I had never lived in a town-house before. I had lived on a farm my whole life and was homeschooled for 5 years. Until Now. "Oh Melody you will be enrolling in Kalibari High, we have to go today so you can take the enrollment test and placement test."
I stared at him, "Enrollment test?!" He smiles in a joking way/
"And placement test, you'll do fine you have to get at least a C to pass. I'm sure you'll do fine."
"Um Dad..." I start.
"Mel- you're smart." He points out.
"I know but..." I pointed to the movers.
'Hey guys! I don't want that there." He ran after them. I laugh and look around. I suddenly thought to myself, 'I think I will love it here."
