Last Chance

Being in middle school is a nightmare. No friends, too many stupid rules, annoying teachers, annoying students. Yeah you probably guessed it by now, I'm a loner. I don't understand why I don't have any friends, well actually I do.
I'm not a make up loving, boyfriend snatching, talkative, rule breaking, being on a cellphone all day, taking everything the easy way, airhead.
Instead I'm a quiet, smart, person who doesn't seem to talk much, but my thinking and the doodling on my pants takes up that time.

The final bell rang and I walked out of the school and out of my personal torture chamber. I don't get why there's so much drama in school. I know what your thinking, I'm not very sensitive, but I am.
Except I've built this huge wall over my heart and I've never let anyone get through, ever since my dad left me and my mom when I was 11.
I walked home, there was some comments from kids shouting behind me, something about me having a nice day by myself, I wasn't paying attention, the music in my ears was all that was on my mind. I didn't even seem to notice the weird blue light in the sky. Heck, I only thought it it was the sky, until it was over me.
It felt like I was being abducted by aliens or something, I was floating up into the air, screaming my head off, into the light. The higher I got the brighter it was, until I thought I was going to go blind from the brightness.
Next thing I knew I was in this dark building. I fell onto the ground hard. I looked like I was the last one to drop in, literally.
I was surrounded by a group of people.The age group was around 8 or 9 to about 70. Most of them looked like they were around my age, teenagers.There were about two little girls and an elderly woman.
All of them I had never seen before in my life. Most of them looked afraid, like the little girls, they were probably wondering where they are and probably want to go home badly and see their moms. We all probably did.
A few of them were talking amongst themselves. Me I was still trying to let my eyes ajust from only seconds ago.
Suddenly I heard footsteps and a figure walked in. "Sorry for the inconvinient way you were brought here. I am Kia and I'm here to help you train for a war that will change your lives forever." Wow that was all brought out, no breaking to us slowly, just blurting it all out.
The little girls got scared and ran behind some of us. Kia lit a candle and saw she was very young, in her twenties, but her eyes,, they looked old and knowing. I didn't know what to do, I just stood there frozen in shock in what she just said.
