The ghost of Castleton
This was one of the scariest things that has happened to me ever. Please don't let this happen to you...
On June 29 2011 I went on a school trip to Castleton in Derby. We all liked scaring each other, but we didn't like it when this happened:
My mate was going around telling everybody there was a ghost.
At about 01:25 in the morning, we were still awake in our room. Then, one of my roommates started to laugh saying there was no such thing as ghosts, but the wardrobe opposite me suddenly creaked open seemingly by itself.
The next day, my other roomate was complaining there was a ghost boy in the men's loos.He said I should go and listen to him breathing there. Of course, I didn't believe him, so I went to investigate. Well, he was dead right. You could hear it breathing heavily. I ran like the clappers out of there.
In July, when we were in the middle of Maths, the clock in the classroom mysteriously fell off of the wall. We were all shocked. We thought the ghost had followed us back from Castleton and was haunting us. Me and my mates ran to a computer to check it out. Sure enough, on google, there it was. The ghost of Castleton...
