My Life with Eggs?

"All kids hold an egg in their soul, the egg of our hearts. Our would-be selves, yet unseen..." I hear a voice in my head. There was no way this could be real.
There is no such thing as a shugo chara.
"Bye mom,"I say running out the door with a piece of toast in my mouth. Today was the day I start going to Seiyo Academy. My name is Celesti Rivers. I am 10 yrs. old and in the 5th grade. My parents movede here from the other side of Japan. I wanted to go here, other than my zoned school because I wanted to meet my old best friend, Amu Hinamori. Things changed when Amu moved. School was no fun and I didn't have a best friend anymore. When my parents announced we were moving, I was so happy. Now I can see her again.
"Wait up, Celesti," Carter says behind me. Oh crap, I forgot my brother. My brother is Carter Rivers, otherwise known as the great Carter. He excels in sports, grades, and has the talent to be a singer, but he does really believe it. Carter is my twin brother; we look just alike, but my hair is longer. But I am a little different from him. I excel in sports too, but my grades are average and I can't sing whatsoever. When he gets straight A's, I get straight B's. I can never beat him. But I can believe more then my brother can so that must count for something right?
We walk to the corner and I get on the opposite side of the street. I don't like being seen with my brother. As I walk, I think about what I will say to Amu when I see her. As I think, I hear commotion coming from an alley. As a peek in, I see her. Her pink hair, hazel eyes, and the way she wears her school uniform is so cool. Her attitude never changed since she left. As she walks out, I try to say something to her.
"Um...hi Amu. It's beena while," I tell her.
"What? Oh...Hi Celesti. Long time no see. Don't tell me, you are coming to Seiyo?!" she says suprised.
"Yep! Carter and I are in the 5th grade Star Class," I tell her. It's been 4 years since I have seen Amu and she hasn't changed a bit.
"Star Class? You are in my class. I will need to escort you, cause the school is huge. Where's Carter?" Amu asks.
"Umm...he's..." I look around.
"Hi Amu," Carter says, coming up behind Amu and covering her eyes.
"Dude stop. You act like we are a couple," Amu says, ducking out of his arms.
"Aren't we?" he asks.
"Wha?"
"Just kidding!"
We walk down the street and to the school. I never knew this school and its secrets would change our lives forever.
