James & Me~ A James Potter Love Story

I stretched out on my large King Size bed and yawned widely before getting up. I ran to the window and opened it to a crisp fresh day. My hair blew back from my face and my eyes watered. I shut the window and heard my mother calling down stairs.
"Mia! Up, now!"
I dressed quickly into my grey shirt, blackish jumper, faded jeans and thick winter cloak. I brushed my teeth and packed my trunk before running down stairs.
"Morning mum!" I said, sitting at the table.
Just then my cousin, aunt and unlce entered.
"Morning Mia!" Uncle said.
"Morning. Hey Remus!" I said, turning to my cousin.
"Hey!" He replied.
He sat across the table for me. We were both ready to go. Time ticked by and the next thing knew we were standing at King's Cross saying goodye.
"Love you sweetie!" Mum said.
I smiled and climbed aboard with Remus. Re,us led us to a compartment with two boys alredy in it.
"Sirius, James!" He said, entering.
They greeted eachother and settled back into their seats. I stood awkwardly at the doorway waiting.
"Oh, sorry! Guys, this is my cousin Mia."
I smiled and sat next to a boy with hazel eyes and messy hair, must be James. Sirius had long black hair and grey eyes. Pulled ut my book and began reading but before long they were getting loud.
"How did you meet anyway!?" I called over the top of them
"Diagon Alley, we kept in touch and turns out we lived near eachother." Sirius explained for me.
"Cool." I said.
I continued to read my book but that didn't last long. I was soon asleep. I felt someone shake me. I kept my eyes shut.
"Mia, wake up! We're almost there!"
I slowly began to regain consciousness and opened my eyes. I remembered that I was on te Hogwarts Express, on my way to Hogwarts. I breathed in slowly and realized I was laying on someone's lap. Please be Remus! Please be Remus! I sat up and to my suprise I was laying on James' lap.
"Ah-er – sorry!" I suttered.
He grinned.
"I don't mind."
"Course you don't!" Sirius mummbled angrily.
I got up and changed into my school robes before returning to the compartment. We sat there for a moment or so just talking. The train stopped at Hogsmeade station and we filed off. I chose a boat with the boys and we began sailing along the lake.
"How deep do you reckon it is?" Sirius asked, peering over the edge of the boat.
"Very." Said Remus.
"A girant squid lives in there." I stated.
"Is it vicious!?" Sirius quizzed eagerly.
"Dunno."
"Let's test!" James said.
I stared over the edge of the boat at the inky black water.
"Are we going to throw food in there or something?" I asked.
When no one responded I turned to see James and Sirius advancing on me with malicious grins.
"Wait! Guys you- WHOAA!"
That was all I got before being thrown into the icey water. I struggled and clutched the side of the boat. James pulled me in and sat me down putting a thick cloak around me.
"Th-Thanks." I suttered.
That water was freezing. The boats soon arrived at the castle and we lined up infront of one of the professors.
"Good Evening!" She said. "Tonight you will be sorted into your houses. There is Gryffindor Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin. For each you will need different qualities but do not fret, the sorting hat always takes your opinion into acount."
She led us into the huge hall and lined us up infront of the staff table. She began calling the names. I took note of the different quialities and figured I would be Ravencalw or Gryffindor. I only looked up when I heard farmiliar names.
"Lupin, Remus!"
Remus ran u and sat on the stool. Despite his condition and his uniquness he was quiet confident.
"Smart and Loyal! No question, GRYFFINDOR!"
He ran over to the Gryffindor table, awaiting the others.
"Black, Sirius!"
Sirius walked up, a little nervous given that most of his family were in Slytherin.
"Brave and Loyal! Conceded at times, shrewd too! Much potential for two but I have to chose GRYFFINDOR!"
His face lit up into a smile and he joined Remus at the Gryffindor table.
"Potter, James!"
James walked up proudly and sat down.
"Ahh! Cunning, loyal! Thirst to be the best! You would do well in Slytherin." James face fell. "But I can see you dont want that! Better be GRYFFINDOR!"
He jumped up from the stool and joined his friends. It was just me now. There were a few more names called before mine.
"Lupin, Mia!"
I walked up shakily trying to convince myself it'll be fine. The hat was placed on my head and began immeidiatly.
"Smart! Yes, very! Holds much loyalty! Ambitious, tricky and reckless. Not the bravest at times, but if ever in peril you will rise up! GRYFFINDOR!"
My heart skipped a beat and I ran to the table. Remus, Sirius and Jaes hugged me tightly. I sat down and the feast began. I began to eat some salad and pumkin juice. After that we were taken up to our dorms by the prefects. I was about to chose a dorm when five girls pushed me out of the way.
"Sorry, full!"
They shut the door in my face and I heard the cackle inside. I thought I was the last girl. Then someone placed a hand on my shoulder. I jumped and turned to face a beautiful girl. She had long black hair and light brown eyes. She was more tan than me and extremly close in height.
"Cows aren't they!" She stated.
I grinned.
"Yeh."
"Chloe Glassie, nice to meet you!" She smiled.
I shook her hand.
"Mia Lupin."
"C'mon, let's get a dorm."
We walked along and found an empty dorm. We went in and into bed straight away. Long day!
