Alice in the Country of Hearts [Fanfic]

I yawned and stretched. "Ce... Lice... Alice." I groaned and sat up.

"Lilith?" Lilith giggled.

"You fell asleep in a tree again, Alice."

"What?" I looked around and i was, indeed, in a tree. Then i fell out. "Aah!"

Lilith caught me and we both tumbled to the ground. "Alice Scarlet Graceful. What am i going to do with you?" I fixed my dress and looked up at her, grinning.

"Love me and cherish me forever." She laughed.

"And make sure you dont die."

"Aw, you do that everyday." We both got up. "Hey, what are you reading?"

"Oh, its an old favorite of mine. Alice in Wonderland."

I tilted my head. "I didnt know i was a storybook character." Lilith laughed as we headed to the garden.

"Its teatime." I yawned.

"Great." Lilith shook her head and gave me her book. "Here. You can read and I'll get us some tea."

"Kay. Later." I started reading it, but eventually fell asleep leaning against the same tree i was sleeping in before. "Who even has teatime anymore? This is the 21st century..." I mumbled.

"Alice? Alice! Wake up." I looked up at the white rabbit.

"A talking rabbit.... Like in the story." I sat up. "Huh. I must be dreaming. Its wearing clothes and talking." I sat up. "I dont feel like going to Wonderland, white rabbit, so go away." I waved my hand at him and lied back down.

"You have to follow me."

"Oh yeah?" I mumbled. "Try make me."

Then before i knew it i was picked up and whisked off. "Huh? Wha..." I looked up and some guy was carrying me, with ease i might add.

"Look. You gotta go down that hole." He pointed to a giant hole in the ground.

"What? When did that get there?! If there were a giant hole in the garden before, i would have known because i definitely would have fallen down it before!"

"Well, you're falling down it now."

"What? No! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!!!" I screamed and kicked to try to get away but it didnt work.

We ended up falling. I screamed and grabbed onto him. "Oh! Alice! I knew you'd realize our love and-"

"What? We are falling! If we die, you're dying first!"

"Oh! You want a group suicide. Isnt that so romantic, but no. All good things must come to an end." And we landed softly on the ground.

"Wha..."

"Come now. Drink this." He held a small vial with a heart on the lid.

"What is that? Alcohol? No way am i drinking that!"

"But you have to! So we can be together forever."

"No! Go away, you creeper." I sidled up to the wall, as far away from the bunny-eared freak as possible.

"But...... But Alice-"

"Oh, and another thing." I stood up. "How do you know my name?"

"Because Alice, I love you." I groaned.

"But i dont even know you!" He just grinned and walked over to me.

"Come now. Drink this," He held it out to me, but i just smacked his hand away.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Now, now, my dear, you have to drink the potion. If you dont, well i'll just have to force you!" He then drank it and walked over to me.

"Huh? What are you doing? Why are you coming so close to me?" I looked up at him, still not getting over his ears. "Why do you have-" Then he kissed me. I gagged as he transfered the liquid from his mouth to mine. He stepped back and grinned.

"Now swallow it. Or i wont tell you anything." Well, it certainly doesnt taste like alcohol. And if i dont drink this i wont get any information. So.....

I swallowed. "Bleh!" I stuck out my tongue. "Disgusting."

"Great! Lets go!" He took my hand and started dragging me out of the room we were in.

"What?" I tried pulling back, without much luck. "I thought you were gonna give me some answers?"

"Right. Well, im Peter White. This is-" I looked around as we went out to the balcony of wherever we were.

"Its a Wonderland." He chuckled.

"If thats what you want to call it, go right ahead."

"Alice in Wonderland...." I whispered.

"Excuse me, darling?"

"Nothing," I glared at him. "And dont call me darling."

"But, sweetie-"

"No, just stop!" I grabbed the vial off the ground and examined it. "What is this?" I said, wanting to change the subject.

"This is the potion of hearts," He said, taking the vial from me. "Once you drink it, you must participate in the game," He started walking out again. "Let's meet again, okay?"

"Wait! Peter, don't leave me alone..." He was gone before i could finish. Even though he was a perverted stalker, I didn't wanna be left alone in this strange world. I got up and looked over the balcony again. "Looks like it's just you now, Alice Graceful," I slide down to sit again. "Just you in this strange, strange world."
