Poem Anthology
Just a whole chock-full of my poems; it won't be updated very frequently but... enjoy!
Summary: A short poem about 21st century madness.
The corner's filled with junkies,
the people aren't kind.
What happened, what happened?
Did everyone lose their mind?
The sky's filled with smoke,
and man has turned to the Devil.
Someone please tell me,
how'd they go down to such a level?
The crimes are merciless,
and the news is never good.
I'm begging for an answer,
how should I change the world if I could?
Well, one million,
see how it starts with one?
It only takes one person,
to drop that awful gun.
And a little can count for a lot,
whether it's a dime or a billion.
If it can help the world do better,
get people to help by the millions.
In all the crazy madness,
struck by the Devil's sharpened rod,
It seems like I'm the only to say,
that I truly do love God.
Inspiration: I wrote this piece after thinking over all of the 2011 events, and I've noticed the lack of faith in this society we call America.
