My name, is Zarifa Grace Alura, last name pronounced A-lure-a. I've always been... Different from those people at my school. I've always had a connection with the water that no one else has, and it makes me feel forever alone.
That was until I met Melody. Seeing as she has the same abilities as me, I've realized differences are everywhere. I had to teach her that to, and as much as she annoys me sometimes, you have to stick by her side, because she has no one.
Until one day, when we were both taken by our science teacher, Chiron. No explanation was given, we were just grabbed into his car, after he said he needed "help" to get stuff in his car.

Yes, he's a centaur. It still baffles me that he can drive a car.. (I WANNA USE A SMILEY FACE HERE SO FREAKING BADD!!!!)
Soon enough, we were at a small camp. Well, what appeared to be small at the time.
The camp radiated a home-ly feeling that comforted me.
"Welcome, to Camp-Half Blood."
