Siren(Marching Band Love Story)

Band. The best class of the day probably. Music filled everybody's soul. It made my heart happy.
Most of the band members say we sound horrible. I don't think we sound horrible.
It makes me sad to hear the members of the band hate on their own music.
Band changed when HE walked in.
The new boy.
When he walked in, some of the drummers tripped him.
The entire band laughed, except for me.
I thought it was mean, I wanted to do something about it.
I continued practicing my instrument and the new boy came and sat behind me.
"Hey," he said, "I'm Josh"
I smiled and told him my name.
I'm going to be Josh's friend:)
I didn't care what the others thought. He seemed like a great guy.
I smiled and we started talking.
He said he came from New York City.
"You came all the way to California?" I asked.
He came to live with his grandparents because his parents passed away in a car wreck.
That must have been really hard for him.
I hugged him and it made him smile.
I like Josh.
We became really good friends:)
Josh was happy that we met eachother, and I was happy too.
