Thank You
Chapter 1
Today was not a normal day. It started off like a normal day, but ended in the worst possible manor. If I go through it again, I'll probably break down, so here is the short version. We had to do something in science class today and somehow our slideshow presentation was deleted. I started making another one and one boy in our group was... very demanding. He said some things that made me feel terrible, and eventually, I ended up breaking down and crying. It was the first time I ever cried in school since grade one. He kept swearing and said he was getting the teacher. The only fairly good part was when the only other group that was in that room stood up and clapped for me after he left because I told him off and stood up to him. So, the reason this is called "Thank You" is because I want to let all the people who really helped me get through day know that I am very very extremely greatful. So here goes...
Thank you Angel M. for asking if I was okay repeatedly to make sure that you could help.
Thank you Andrew. You're the co-op student in our class, but I felt comforable talking to you about what happened. So thank you a whole heck of a lot for being there to talk to.
Thank you Devan, Christiaan and Rachel for clapping for me and backing me up. It really means a lot.
Thank you Tom M. for asking if I was alright, I really appretiate it.
Thank you Eric T. for asking me if I was alright the minute I walked into French class.
Thank you Jaclyn M. for being there for me and taking my mind off of the situation. You're an amazing friend. You can make people laugh when they're about to cry. I couldn't have asked for a better friend. :)
Thank you Melissa T. for giving me a pep talk when I really needed it the most. I felt so much better afterwards and it made me feel good that you backed me up.
Thank you Taylor P. for walking with me after school. You cheered me up and you gave me your Booster Juice. Your a really great friend even though we don't talk to much.
Thank you Evan S. You were the only one from another class that stopped me in the hallway to ask if I was alright. It really means a lot to me, so I just want to say thank you so much.
And finally, thank you Kathryn H. You stood up for me in the group, just like you always have. You didn't let 'He who shall not be named' (Don't worry, it's not Voldemort...) think for one second that you were on his side and you were like the sister that I never had. So, thank you so much Kathryn for always being there for me. BFFLs forever :)
If I missed anyone I am truly sorry, but I just wanted to let everyone who helped me see that even the smallest things can help. I wish I could say more in these small paragraphs, but I don't exactly know how. I hope the day gets better, but thank you all for helping me see that I'm not alone.
Broken but healing,
Caitlin

That's right, you should always stood up to demanding and selfish people. He should even thank you for having the effort making another presentation despite it being deleted. Congratulations for that. :D Keep smiling and thinking positive!
