L o v e W a r s

There I was at the edge of the woods. Nowhere to run I was trapped, wolves in every direction. They came closer and closer each second. Then, they stopped. One wolf, which I presumed to be the leader of the pack, took a step forward and pounced. I dodged his razor-sharp claws, but just barely. He tore my favorite dress. The other wolves must have been surprised because they left a gap in their defenses. So I ran for it, and me not caring at that point ran deeper and deeper into the woods. The most important thing at that moment was my life. So I ran and ran till … Well, I hit someone. It was a man. The man looked a lot like my father. I looked at him for a fue moments, then the wolves howls brought me back. I got back up from where I had fallen when I ran into the man. The man looked at my face and must have seen the fear in my eyes for he pulled me to stand behind him. The wolves came from behind the trees and encercled both the man and myself. Once more the leader of the pack took a step and bent down to atack. Suddenly, the man walked over to the main wolf and took it by the nape of its neck and some how thru it quickly into a tree. The other wolves ran as fast as they could away from the man and I could see the fear in their eyes. If this man could sare the wolves maybe I should be scared aswell. The man took two steps tord me and my body froze. I wanted to screem but my voice had left me and also who would hear me if I had anyway. I was out in the middle of the woods. The man walked closer and I backed myself into a tree. "Who are you?", the man asked angerly," What are you doing in my woods?" I looked at him and I could have sworen his eyes turned red. I tryed to speek and what did come out was a wisper and maybe not even that." I am Ilotha spencer", I said as loud as my voice would let me " I was tring to get away from home. My father, the king, is the worst man in the world. I hate that I have to do as told just because I am a princess." The man looked at me and the anger ran from his face." I am William Demish", the man bowed, " why don't you come to my village and talk with me for a while?" I though a moment this man who ran off the wolves is asking me to come to his village? Why not it had to be better then being chased again. So I walked farther into the woods with William leading the way.
