Euh the gay love story I wrote for class xD

The alarm clock was making such a pungent and disturbing noise at 6 in the morning that Ken’s mom had to wake up and shut the ear-splitting timer off before the baby Jerome wakes up. Even she could hear the alarm loud and clear from her room but Ken, who had it right next to him, was still sleeping like an animal in hibernation.
“Ken! Wake up already!” She said with an angry voice while taking his blanket off him.
“5 more minutes mom.” Ken insisted with a sleepy tone as he pulled back his blanket over him.
“No right now! Or else you’ll be late for your class again.”
He got up right away and walked straight to the washroom with his eyes still closed. Then he takes his shower and gets ready for school. He always takes a lot of time to get ready, at least an hour. His best friend Julia tells him all the time just to mock him, “Even a girl takes less time than you!” He leaves his house, running; at 7:20 am without having breakfast otherwise he’ll miss the bus like almost every others days.
A while later, when Ken’s at school, first of all, he goes to his locker to take out his books then he joins Julia and together they go to their class while discussion about random things. Julia does most of the talking; her friend just listens to her in silence and smiles to give a response.
Ken sits at the end of the class so the teacher wouldn’t catch him sleeping or doing anything else but the work that has been ask to do. He’s usually silent so the teacher never noticed him but that day he asked him to come and sit in the front because he realized Ken doesn’t pay attention in class or work hard because he failed the last test. At the same time, Mrs Boudreau, the principal of secondary 4 came, accompanied by a new student, she presented Kyle Knight to the whole class and after she left, Mr. Gilbert, the teacher, asked Kyle to take the empty seat right next to Ken Stone. Kyle sits down on the chair & starts observing the entire class like an innocent little boy, lost in a strange place trying to figure out where he is. Ken was looking at him by the corner of his eyes. Kyle noticed that when he laid his eyes on Ken who directly looked somewhere else to avoid the eye contact with him.

After class, Kyle walks slowly toward Ken and Julie, because he recognizes one of them from earlier when they were in Math.
“Hi I’m Kyle...” he says nervously looking at Ken who was staring at the floor with cold eyes.
“Hey Kyle, I’m Julia and this is Ken, welcome to the school!” she replied with a huge friendly smile.
“Hey...” Ken added with a soft voice that was almost impossible to hear because of all the cutting noises of the hall.
And then, the bell ringed and everyone left for their next class.
“Ken, why are you being rude to Kyle?” she told her friend while they were walking toward the next class.
“What do you mean?” answered Ken, acting all surprised.
“Well I noticed you were acting differently when he came to us and you didn’t even properly talk to him.”

“What are you talking about Julio?” he replied with a small laughter as he went to take his place.
After school, Ken immediately goes home, climbs the stairs, enters his room and locks the door. Then he lies down on his bed and stares at the ceiling. He feels uncomfortable; something inside him is happening that he doesn’t understand a strange and unusual feeling that can’t be expressed. This emotion is totally new to him; it excites him as if there was a lot of energy inside him that is trying to tell him something. The only thing he knows for sure that, it has to do something with... Kyle. Since he saw him, he is feeling this way and his heart starts to beat faster than the usual when Kyle is even closer...

The days pass by and Kyle keeps getting nearer to Ken and Julia, they are now close friends. At some point, Ken realizes that he likes Kyle more than just a friend... He doesn’t want to admit it to himself or accept the fact that he’s actually in love with another boy. It can’t be! He can’t be... gay. He never liked any guy before, how come he likes him now? He must be mistaking, it’s not love, it’s something else, maybe, he’s not sure what it is but it’s not love for sure. A boy can’t be in love with another boy, that’s not normal to Ken. He always thought he liked girls, even though he never actually liked anyone in particular, he just thought he hasn’t found the perfect one yet so he waited for her. But now... he just can’t believe what is going on. The more he gets closer to Kyle, the more his feelings for him get stronger and this is killing him inside. What is her mom going to say when she’ll find out? What will his friends think? And most importantly how will Kyle react when he’ll know that his best friend is in love with him? Ken can’t let anyone know about his homosexuality, he won’t be able to live normally after; nothing will remain the same in his life. So he decides to keep everything inside him.

No matter how hard Ken tried to act normal it didn’t work out as he hoped. His mom and Julie can feel that there’s something wrong going on with Ken, he has been acting strange lately, his new and unusual behaviours show that he’s not feeling very well; he seems to be lost and scared all the time. Also it looks like he forgot how to talk; he’s even quieter than before. Besides, he doesn’t sleep or eat anymore. So Julie and Ken’s mom tried to talk to him about his problems but he didn’t open his mouth to any of them. But a few days later, he just couldn’t keep all his pain and secrets inside him; the suffering was getting more and more intense. So decides to tell everything to Julia, because he knows that she’s the only one who will be there for him when no one else will, their friendship is such a strong bound between them, she’s the only person he trusts with his life.
So he explains everything from the beginning to his friend who listen the whole story with an interest and without interrupting even when Ken stopped talking several times while he was confessing to see Julia’s reaction, he wanted to hear something from her, but she didn’t talk until he was done.
Sometimes Julia suspected that Ken was allegedly gay; this idea passed through her mind many times but she refused to believe because every time she told herself “He would have told me if he was. I’m his best friend, he tells me everything!” Apparently, today is the day... She wants to help him and make him realise that there’s nothing wrong with his homosexuality, this is who he is, and he didn’t chose to be like this, god made this way. So he shouldn’t be scared of showing his inner side to the world, his real friends will still love him, just a fact about him wouldn’t change anything. But most importantly, she tries to convince Ken to let Kyle know everything, but it didn’t work. He told her with terrified livid eyes he will never dare revealing this to him, he’s too afraid of the pain of rejection. He doesn’t want Kyle to push him away when he’ll find out his secret; their friendship is what is keeping Ken alive because he can get closer to him. What if Kyle doesn’t want to be friends with him anymore after learning the truth? Ken will die if that happens.
Ken’s situation gets worse by days; he keeps falling and falling for Kyle, who never seems to notice anything. Ken thought it was impossible to love him more than he already does but he was wrong. Now he’s insanely in love, every time he closes his eyes, he only sees the angelic and innocent face of Kyle smiling at him his soft that are so irresistible, he would give the moon just to kiss him for once, only for a few seconds... Every time he sees Kyle, he feels the incredible need to be with him, feels his body next to his loved one, feels his presence and have Kyle's beautiful blue eyes to caught Ken's sight. Kyle wasn't necessarily the most masculine guys of all, but he had these cute medium long silky brown hairs that caught Ken’s attention. Kyle also had that incredible smile that made Ken melt all the time. It was impossible to resist. The way he was feeling about Kyle was pure and true love. There was no way it couldn't be. And there was a voice in his head saying "Who cares if I love a boy, love is love, no matter what.” So after many weeks of suffering that felt like burning in hell for eternity, Ken finally decides to express his feelings to Kyle, what he does to him when he’s next to Ken but also when he’s far, far away because he just can’t stop thinking about him all the time, not even for a single second...
It was cold outside, especially at night on the Golden Bridge, Ken was waiting for Kyle. He was just standing there like a statue, the only thing moving was his hair as it danced with the wind. But suddenly, he started to feel warmer, because he saw Kyle approaching; only his presence was enough to hypnotize Ken.
After talking about the horrible weather, Kyle asked his friend the reason why he made him come. Ken was hesitating, he was awfully scared and shy to open up but he came all this way, he can’t just back out now. So he mustered all his feelings and jeopardized by declaring it in a single breath for the sake of his love and then he stopped as if he was on the television and someone paused while he was speaking. Kyle laughed at first, he thought it was a joke but when he saw Ken’s serious face, he stopped and became speechless... There was a long silence that Kyle broke with one simple sentence that stabbed Ken’s heart and thwarted all his dreams,
“Never try to get close to me; I don’t want to see you ever again...”
He immediately left on these last words.
Ken watched him until he disappeared in the obscurity, then he fell down on his knees. His heart was keening, his eyes were bawling, his world was crashing but he remained wordless and soundless...
