I walked down to the common room. The chairs and couches were gone, and gold tinsel hung everywhere. The floor was completly empty, except for a Christmas tree in the corner, decorated in gold and red ornaments. I saw Fred standing with Lee, setting up lights. "Hey there, beautiful." Fred joked, putting his arm around my shoulders. I laughed, slipping out of his arm. He then started chasing me around the room, both of us laughing. We stopped, breathless, as people started coming down the dormitory steps. George came down the boys dorm steps and took my hand. "I'd like my girlfriend back please." "I'll be right back, I need to go make a song request." George said. He walked up to Lee, the DJ. George said something, Lee nodded, and George walked back to me. Then, You and I Tonight by Faber Drive, started playing. I smiled and blushed, looking down at my feet. George must have looked down at my feet to, because he said, "Converses? Really?" "They are the second nicest shoes I have." I blushed more. "Your still beautiful to me." He put his hands on my waist, and I put mine on his shoulders. He held me close, and I listened to his heartbeat. We stayed like that, swaying slightly. As the song ended, he kissed me on the lips. His hands moved up to the side of my face. We finally broke apart. I saw Oliver dancing with Katie Bell. I felt a little jelous, I tried to shake the feeling away, I was dating George after all, but the feeling just kept comeing back. Oliver was too good for her. Katie Bell dated most of the Gryffindor boys. I had even heard some rumors that she used a Love potion on some of them. And she was a git. I had to just ignore. It was distracting me from George. "You alright?" he asked me. "yeah, I'm fine. Just...thinking." I answered. "Oh, alright." We kept dancing, hand in hand. He would occaisonly tell jokes to make me laugh. "I love your laugh." He said, smiling. "No..it's stupid..." I said. "No, it's not. I think its cute." It was starting to get late, and I was starting to get tired. "I think I should head to bed." I said. "Okay. Goodnight. I love you." he whispered in my ear. He kissed me once more on my forehead and I headed up to the girls dorm. I kicked off my Converses and flopped onto my bed, exhausted. I quickly fell asleep, without even changing into my pajamas.
