The last knife hits the heart

The shock hit me like a bullet. Tears brimmed from my eyes like never before. It couldn't be, it wasn't really what it appeared to be was it? But how could it be a lie? her name, clear as crystal, Emily Greenwood. And of course there was the picture of her all bloody, sprawled out on the floor, with a knife digging right into her back. My best friend was dead. I ripped the newspaper up in anger and darted out of the room. I flopped on the bed and cried my heart out, wishing that she would come back. There were only two people I could think of that could of done this, either my ex or my ex's new girlfriend. My ex, Damien only wanted me for my body. The only thing he was concerned about was"doing it."When I broke up with him he promised revenge on me, so maybe he killed her?
