A Scary Cool School, For Some Scary Cool Kids!

I woke to the sound of my alarm clock yelling at me, literally. I groaned and rolled over. Hitting my alarm clock, I heard a knock at my bedroom door. Grumbling, I got out of my soft, warm, silky bed and went to open the door. My dad stood there looking at the ground. He looked up, and I could tell that he wanted to explain something.

“Deathana, I know you’re unhappy with me right now. The reason why I’m sending you to Monster High is because I have some business to take care of with our family. Uncle Zeus has called me to help make a decision, and I can’t home school you anymore” I only looked at him and sighed.

“Fine, let me get dress though” I said and shut the door. Picking out my favorite outfit, a long flowing black skirt, and a black and aqua partial tank top. I put on my bone accessories. Declaring myself presentable, I grabbed my bag and opened my bedroom door. Finding my pet panther, Nightshade, in front of the door.

“Move cat” I said and Nightshade rolled over.

“At least he moved” I mumbled and stepped over him. I walked out of the house and hopped in to the car. My dad drove in silence. By the time we got to the school, my heart was pounding.

“Don’t worry Deathana, you’ll be fine” Dad said to comfort me. I nodded. He leaned over and kissed me on the forehead.

“Bye Dad” I said and got out.

“Bye Deathana, just remember that you’re walking home after school.” I nodded, and then he drove off. I turned around and looked at the school. I gulped, and then took a deep breath. I then walked into the unfamiliar school.
