Scary but Attractive
this is a story about my love with my band director
Ok imagine this, there is this 6 foot tall teacher who you are scared of, yet secretly have a crush on. What do you do? You get stuck going to sectionals hoping you partner will show up, and guess what, she never does. So you have to play your solo all by yourself. Then he compliments you on how good you are, and I can’t help but to smile. Then I had to get serious really fast, so then he wouldn’t notice. All during the sectionals I wanted to smile, and laugh, but also cry. I never looked up because then I would have to look into his brown eyes. That where scary, yet beautiful. Anyways, he compliments me on everything I do even when I mess up. But since I’m second chair, and have no other choice to play, and try to make it as beautiful as possible, without passing out due to lack of air. With a solo so slow you can barely go fast enough to make a difference except that you are going to slow instead of the right tempo. It’s like I can’t get anything right. But then it changes, he continues making me play and tells me how great I did. (Even thou I thought I did badly). He says “I know it’s Christmas break but I want you to relax but also practice some. So practice a couple of days before we get back. So go home and get some rest I will see you tomorrow goodnight” and that was it I left. But you know just because he is somewhere between 30 and 35 doesn’t mean I can’t like him. But what makes it all worse is that my partner is going to quit coming so I will be alone for the rest of the sectionals. This by the way is totally fine with me. You can never tell when you are going to love somebody, but when you do, you will know who it is. This is what I just found out. It’s too bad I can’t tell anybody at my school because then they will tell him. His name is Mr. Smith he works at Alvin Junior High as an assistant band director. But I love the feeling when I see him it just give me the butterflies.

Uhm... Well... Listen up, girly. I get you like him, but it's not going to happen. Maybe you should try and look at boys your age more. Find some distractions. Other than that... Well, I agree with SpiritOfAWeed.

Well, girl, I'm 15 :P And I'm still waiting. Sometimes you just have to be patient. And this guy is 20 years older than you.... I'm not saying that love with such an age span isn't possible, but you'd have to wait until you're grown up.
ok i understand that but ive been waiting for 13 years now and idc how old he is there is old people that are dating 20 year old! like a 60 yeah old man dating or even marring a 20 year old and that's 40 yeahs different

im not going to do anything rash. i haven't even told him yet. i told my band director and he actually took it pretty well
