New Years Eve

A large house, some streamers,5 foot sterios, and some food. Everything you need for a great party. But the ultimate necessity...people.

That's what I was smiling about as another batch of people poured in the door.

"Hey, Annabelle." I heard from behind me.

I whipped around and hugged my best friend, Macy.

"Long time, no see!" I laughed. We couldn't be apart for two weeks without talking, but this was a first. She giggled before commenting again.

"How Mattew going?" She said, extending the word Mattew in a lovey dovey tone. I rolled my eyes and glared at her.

"Nothing is going on...except..." I giggled excitedly. "I think he's going to try to kiss me tonight!" I exclaimed. Ignoring my comment, Macy looked at my clothes in disgust.

"You know whats NOT going on? Your clothes!" Macy said. "We need to get you some new ones!"

I looked down at my clothes. They weren't that bad. (http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_199/set?id=41149604) But Macy was the fashion queen. Heck, she was named after a clothing store. She knew what she was talking about. She had a 99% chance of being prom queen this year, and that was something.

"Well what do you think i should wear?" I asked, hoping it wasn't pink shinguards to 'match my soccer uniform' like last time. We walked up to my room and scrolled through my closet. Finally, after 15 minutes, she pulled out http://www.polyvore.com/simple_pray_for/set?id=40237823

I gasped. "This is beautiful! I didn't know i could ever find an outfit for these heels!" I said, shocked. I went in and out of the bathroom within 2 minutes. After Macy applied my make up, we were ready to go back downstairs. As if on cue, Mattew walked through the door, his bright, cool smile and lovable eyes with him.

"Hey Matthew!" I said, rushing over to him.
"Hey, Annabelle." He said, a tint of excitment in his voice but the rest chill and relaxed.

Before i could embarress myself infront of him, Macy swept in and offered to turn on the TV.

"Sure." I said fastly and sat next to Mattew on the couch. A slim reporter appeared on screen, pointing towards many white sparks in the sky.

"This just in! A meteor shower was reported yesterday, but astrologists predict these are actual shooting stars! This hasn't happened in millions of years!"

Murmurs filled the room as people started talking about what they were going to wish for. I turned to Mattew.

"So, what are you going to wish for?" I asked.

"I don't know, you?" He asked, staring at me.

I smiled and thought of the perfect wish. One that i would definetley never tell Mattew. My cheeks turned a bright rosy red as i answered.

"I don't have to tell you!" I teased.
