Aslan's Country

I’m a girl who lost her family at the age of three. I barely remember them. All I know is that I use to live in Narnia. I use to fly free in the skies. Yes, that's right, I said fly. My species is called winged tigers. We sound exactly what we are. Tigers with wings. Yeah, i had my life set out for me, by my parents. They teach me how to survive and keep me alive. Then when i was old enough, i get kicked out, and have to live on my own, met a guy, settle down, have cubs and do what my parents did. That would just be it, have a couple litters, then enjoy the rest of my life. Sounded easy, right? Wrong! There are those who are out to get my kind. Poachers. They want our fur for its qualities, and our feathers. Our feathers give us special powers to those who deserve them. The powers are earned, not inherited. Some are ambitious on gaining their powers, but it’s Aslan who ultimately allows these powers to grow. Now the poachers want these feathers for they fetch high prices in the markets. That is why we live in hiding, only going out when necessary. My story starts when I was three.
