Reads: 15 | Chapters: 1 |

So you may have read this on my other account and this will sounds familiar but I want to rewrite it. It used to be called The Mysteries You Bring / Brought To Me.
Lillie Mays is a girl in love with a lone wolf she befriended. Little does she know that he's a werewolf, not just a wounded animal. His mother was a wizard and his father a werewolf. A curse that someone cast has chosen his path for him, and ancient history seems to like to repeat itself.
Enjoy (:

Chapter 1

Wolf Clan

by: Jacers__
Sandanio, Marrok, Adolf, Lowell, Botolf, Two-socks. Those are the male wolves in my pack. Vicious. Mean. Horrible. In other words, the opposite of the female wolves on my pack. Ylva, Accalia, and Tate. Beautiful, imaginitive, smart.

If it weren't for them, the boys might have done more serious damage to others. Specifically, the other clans of wolves. We are the Wolf Clan, or the first clan born. The clan we are enemies with is Fox Nation. Like their name, they are part fox.

Unfortunately, one of the females from our clan long ago mated with a fox nation member. It was against the laws we have and she was severely punished, but not until her cubs were born. We don't trust the Fox Nation, they have betrayed us when we needed them the most and they are part of the reason I am cursed. I should never have met her. Never.

I paused in my thinking, glancing around cautiously. My fur is standing on end, I can feel someone is near. Slowly, I hide behind a large bush as two people pass by.

"Did you hear that Henry?" a girl's soft voice called.

"Hear what Lillie?" the boy, Henry, replied.

Dammit, she shouldn't be here either!

I looked through the bush at Lillie. Her silk brown hair is tied back in a tight ponytail that bobs as she walks. I smile slightly and back away from the bush. Digging my claws into the ground, I leap over the bush, landing behind them.

Lillie turns around and opens her mouth as if to say something. She closes her beautiful mouth and looks at my bandages. They are torn and dirty, and blood is seeping through.

I smile at her before bounding away toward the direction of my clan. She calls after me but I run faster, for she can't know where I am going. Not now. Not ever. Soon, I can't hear her anymore. But my mind wanders to her, quite often. Tate once told me that when you meet your other half, you will know. It's taken me a while to figure out what she meant by that but I think I know now.

A slight rustle was made and my ears automatically perk up at the sound. Instinctively, my nose sniffs the air, and a foul scent hits me.

I figure out the smell just as Reynard and Vixen saunter away from the trees they were hiding behind.

"I should have known you would return," Vixen's teasing voice said. The bad thing about foxes is that they are able to communicate with you whether you want to or not.

"You should have known better, my sweet," I sneered back. Her red and orange coat was shiny, even in the moonlight. Her large eyes stared at me as Reynard walked toward me. His dark coat was as thick as I remember it and his teeth were bared.

"She isnt yours anymore, Connall," He whispered, his eyes blazing.

"Like I want her back. All I really want, Reynard, is to be able to phase back into my human form. I got things I have to do," I replied, trying to stay calm.

"Did you finally find love? Are you afraid she's going to be scared of you? Because, if not, we can do the scaring for you," Vixen replied, smacking her tail at Reynard to tell him to back off.

He obeyed.

"Leave her alone," I growled, my calmness dissapearing.

"So she does exist. Well Reynard, looks like we got work to do," Vixen said, her voice sickly sweet in my head.

"Dammit! Vixen, leaver her alone. Or I swear, I will kill you this time," I threatened, while turning around to try once again to find my clan.

"You cant protect her forever, Connall," Vixen's and Reynard's voice called after me as I ran as fast as I could.

This isnt working the way it should. Not at all.

---

Shaking my head, I raced as fast as I could away from Lillie's camping grounds. I had followed her back, making sure she had arrived safely. The image of her sweet smile lingered in my mind and I had to force my paws to move, which proved difficult. I wanted nothing more than to turn around and tell her everything.

"You're not allowed to tell anyone. No one is," a voice shouted in my head.

"Shut up Marrok, I know. I didnt tell her anything," I shouted back to Marrok, the leader of my clan. I wanted to fight with him, he's the reason I'm in this mess.

"If I hadnt called you, you would have told her," Marrok's taunting voice replied.

"In case you forgot, Sandanio is the reason I can't change back. And whatever the hell he did to me, I cant talk human even in wolf form," I nearly yelled. My strength cam back to me in the form of anger. All that was going through my mind is, Sandanio is going to pay. Marrok is going to pay. I didn't have to become like this.

"You were born this way, you idiot," Marrok's voice laughed at me. I forgot he could hear me.

"You know I could have chosen to take my mother's side. Become a wizard. Wait, I should rephrase that, Sandanio chose for me. I never wanted this, I wanted to practise wizardry. I wanted to become something. I never wanted to become some pest-invested, drooling monster," I yelled to Marrok. I knew he was still listening, probably telling the others what I am saying too.

"Idiot, this is your destiny. Sandanio only helped you see that," Marrok replied. I could just imagine him right now. His shiny black coat glistening in the sun as he sat with the others. Sandanio was probably there with him. Only they can't hear me unless I want them to. Marrok can only hear me because he is directly related to me. Damn disappointment if you ask me.

"Help me? I'm stuck in wolf form right now cause I'm too weak to phase back to my human self. I bet that even if I had my full strength, I wouldn't be able to anyway! I'm cursed as far as I care," I responded, coming to a halt beside a river. I lapped up the water while waiting for Marrok to respond in my head. Stupid connections.

"If you had gone to training with the rest of us, your body would be strong enough to transform you," Marrok snarled.

"Pfft. Do you not remember that I did go to training? That I passed with flying colors? That I did even better than you or Sandanio?" I snarled back, my hind feet digging into the dirt as I flew off in a flurry to find Marrok.

"That changed nothing. You said it yourself. You. Are. Cursed. And unless you find a cure, your stuck like this," Marrok's taunting voice faded and I knew the connection had been broken. Stupid, messed-up world. I thought. Stupid, messed-up world.
