In the Heart of the Mountains

I watched as the sun rose in the distance, turning the sky into a masterpiece of pink and orange with deep brown eyes.
I sighed.
Today was another day. That meant one day less until I would be The Savior.
I glanced at my watch the lay on the forest floor. It was 7:35.
“Better start going to school.” I thought to myself then stood up.
I looked down at my furry paws.
”Bye. See you after school.” I thought jokingly.
I closed my eyes and felt a tingling sensation and a feeling of calm and warmth wash over me.
When I opened my eyes again, I was in my normal state.
Human.
I wrapped my watch onto my wrist and pulled my book bag onto my back. I then began the journey to school.

Five minutes later I was staring at a yellow brick building with a fancy arched entrance.
School.
I walked up the steps and passed by lots of different "groups". There were the preps, the goths, the populars, the wanna-bes, the jocks, the skaters, etc.
Once I got to my locker, I spun the dial until finally my locker swung open and revealed my books.
I zipped open my book bag and slipped out my books. I then smushed my book bag into my locker and snatched some more books out of it.
I zipped to class and sat down right as the tardy bell rang.
Mrs. Haren walked into the classroom wearing a purple suit and flashy white heels. She is so cool.
"Alright class! Settle down! Settle down!" She started, "Today we have a new student who will be joining us! Her name is Anastasia Shay."
I felt a tingling sensation.
Could it be?!
