Thank you, Starkid, for Introducing me to Redvines! (A Short New Year's Eve Story)
Yeah....this is for New Year's.
It's not a Starkid story, just a thank you.

Chapter 1
Heeeeeere we go! (BTW, this was what actually happened last night, maybe leaving out names.)

"Dad, can we go on a walk?" I asked on New Year's Eve at about 10:45 p.m.
"Sure. Ask Mrs.__ first." I skipped over to where my best guy friend, and crush, was waiting.
"We just gotta ask your mom and then we're all good." I grabbed my 64-oz tub of Redvines.
"I'll give these to her while you ask. She said she loves them." I said with a wicked smile.
He grinned back. "Defiantly." We walked up to his mom and I smiled and gave her the Redvines.
"Mom, can we go on a walk?" He asked.
"Sure. See if your brother wants to go. And stay off the main road; there could be drunk drivers out there!" She warned.
We walked downstairs to where his brother was watching TV.
"Wanna go with us on a walk?" I asked.
"Nope." He replied. My friend and I exchanged a this-is-working-out-well look.
We walked upstairs, put on our coats, grabbed Redvines, and walked into the cold night air.
"You can see the lights from the ski slopes right there." I pointed. He smiled and walked with me down the damp road in the dark. We talked and laughed and ate our Redvines (He threw one at a passing car). We walked through the dark night and talked about our lives and the party going on at the slopes (which I didn't go to, because he wasn't allowed to) but I was perfectly happy with my best friend.
All I could think was: Thank you, /Team Starkid.
Because of them, I got Redvines (which are Totally Awesome) and bribed people with them.
Another thing Redvines can do: Give me one he// of a New Year's Eve!
