Chapter 1

What should've been a child

As Wendy was carried to the emergency room, she groaned in pain. Her stomach hurt, because she was pregnant, and this was her first baby. The doctor gave her medicine to make it hurt not as much, but she still could feel it coming. She fell asleep, and when she woke up, the doctor was holding a red, miniature, miscarriage baby. She cried, and her husband assured her that is was alright. The baby was supposed to be a girl, but of course she wouldn't be able to live now.

Now, let's fast forward, about 11 years later. They had one child, a beautiful girl, blond hair, dark brown eyes, and a pretty smile, named Elisa. She loved to ride horses. One day, at a competition, she had just finished her jumping course, when her mother told her to go untack the horse. She was in the barn, when she spotted this ghostly figure. A girl of about 11 looked back at her. She had long black hair, with dark brown eyes, like her sisters. But Elisa didn't know she had a sister. Her sister was planned to be named Caroline, but since she had passed away, she had never known her name. You see, Elisa had been born right after her sisters death. They were fraternal twins. Anyway, so Caroline told her sister all what had happened. They never told Elisa about her, and Caroline was angry about that.

Elisa asked her parents about Caroline. Her mother broke down into tears, and her father scolded her. She had no idea what they had been thorough.. she felt terrible, so she headed to her room. That was the last time she brought up that conversation.
