The Ghost Of Stratford,Ontario,Canada (A JB love/murder story)

MARCH 25, 1943

I looked up at a utility pole, where I noticed a WANTED sign

WANTED, TALL CAUCASSIAN MAN, BALD, BLACK MUSTACHE WITH BLUE PLAID SHIRT AND WHITE UNDERSHIRT, JEANS AND BROWN BELT AND CONVERSES, NOTE: EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, PLEASE CALL EMERGENCY IF YOU SPOT HIM, REWARD: $1,000

I smiled. Anything to get food on the table. I pulled the tab from the bottom of the paper and walked 2 blocks to my house. I twisted the doorknob. Locked. I grabbed my keys rom my pocket and went inside. I peeked inside, noticing nobody inside.

Finally, I had the place to myself! I usually have 2 little brothers running and screaming in the house, tearing every inch of my room apart and driving me crazy. I just sat back and relaxed. No homework tonight, just me.

I immediately sat up. We had leftover macaroni salad in the refrigerator. I went into the refrigerator and grabbed a bowl of it inside. I walked back into the living room and began eating it. Since it was mostly made of ingredients from the refrigerator (mayonnaise and French Dressing) I didn’t have to worry about heating it up.

After I was done, I put the bowl inside the sink and walked back into the living room and began reading my book for my essay which was due by next week.

BANG!!

A thief broke into my house, I heard a loud banging sound, I felt something pierce my forehead and then I blacked out.

I never woke up.

My family immediately moved out after my death and this house has been abandoned for over 51 years until finally, a man, a woman and a child- a teenager who looked my age- bought the house.

I wanted to give them a good scare, but then they’d probably just move out, and I’d be alone again.

I’ve already suffered 51 years without anybody in this place.
