Girl sat by herself in the swings.She kicked at the dust and sighed."Hi."She jumped startled and found herself looking up at a boy,her age with dark hair and eyes and a friendly smile."Hi.."she said shyly,returning the smile.

"Wanna come play with me?"He asked,

Girl shook her head shyly.

Boy tugged on her hand,"It'll be fun.I promise."

Girl smiled,"Promise?"

Boy laughed and pulled her after him."Yeppers."

She laughed and chased after the boy with the warm eyes and friendly smile.

Boy flicked a paper ball at Girl.She rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to her book.Boy plopped on the couch next to her."Fighting with your parents again?"He asked.

Girl nodded closing her book."It'll be fine,I promise."

Girl smiled truly now then remembered her arms and frowned.Boy caught the frown and pulled up her sleeve.Letting it go Boy pulled Girl into a hug."I promise."He whispered
