I Need You Hunger Games Experts!
Well, I've just recieved the third book, and I began to read it. But I still have some simple questions about the series:
1) What is the "Seam?"
2) What is a Career?
3) Was Rue's last name ever mentioned?
4) How did you imagine Rue? (JW)
5) I'm thinking of making a story about the 30th Hunger Games. What information would I need to know?
6) What districts tend to ally in the arena?
7) Are guns ever supplied in the arena?
8) Do children have school during the Hunger Games? (Ex: Did Prim go to school the whole day like usual while Katniss was in the arena?)
9) How/When was the Hunger Games televised? (Ex: Did people have their TVs on all day while the Hunger Games was just fed to the televisions?)
10) At the end of the day, in the Hunger Games arena, when their told who died, the anthem, ect. was it fireworks or just a projector that showed them ?

2) A Career is a tribute from Districts 1,2,and 4 that are trained all their lives for the Games.

4) I pictured her with long, dark brown hair and golden eyes with dark brown skin. :) Rue is my favorite character.

2) a person who actually trains for the hunger games, expecting and wanting to be in them

5) The 30th hunger games was never talked about in the books I don't think, so you could probably make up what the arena was like and the tributes winner and all that

the seam is like the poor outridge of district 12, a career is a tribute that comes from on of the captial fovored districts & theyre trained to win the games, Im pretty sure its like Outteridge of something?, I imagined her alot like Prim for awhile until I figured out she was black xD now I imagine her a sweet little black girl with short pigtails & just adorable, how the capital was & that the games are brutal & with names & stuff be unique & creative & dont be afraid to think outside the box
districts 1,2,& 4 usually do (careers) & district parnters do sometimes & it just kinda depends what distrcits you want to ally together!, no because thats an unfair advantage & alot less 'fun & entertaining' to the audience if theyre just slaughtered & the games end quickly, yes they do & they get updates during school & watch it at home, yes its the only time the entire district has clear television but most watch it in the square on the big screen I think, a projection in the sky,
1) The Seam is the poorest part of District 12. Katniss used to live in the Seam, along with Gale.
2) A Career is a Tribute in The Hunger Games. The Career Tributes are usually from District 1, 2 and 4 althought sometimes invite hefty Tributes from other Districts. The Careers are thought of as bloodthristy, and hefty figures. Cato and Clove were Careers.

5) All you'd need to know is... 2 Tributes from each Districts (of which there are 12). One male and one female. That's it, really. Then you can make up the rest!
6) The Career Pack = Districts 1, 2 and 4. Usually the other District Tributes form small alliances with eachother, or District partners partner together since they know eachother from their own homes.
7) No. They use mostly old-fashioned weapons.
8) Yes, they do. Although, usually when it comes down to the last 4 or 5, the ...
kids will have a day off school. They are also given the highlights whilst they study.
9) Yes. It was permanently shown in the District 12 square, and in the other Districts square. On home TV's, if you turned it on, you could watch it, but you didn't have to all the time.
10) A projector. The face flashes in the sky, but not like fireworks.
