Well... I just got back from four and a half hours of baby sitting... x(
No fun. No fun at all.
Um... Idk if I'm gonna have all of the challenges and stuff in here. But... Yule Ball :) But sorry, I'm not gonna describe the clothes or anything.

Chapter 1

The Yule Ball

I miss you so much... Just remember.

I snapped my eyes open, looking around the my dorm. It was still dark out. Just a dream. Again. Lately they had all been the same - some guy who I couldn't see was calling to me... Telling me to not to forget him. Who was I forgetting? I sat up, rubbing my eyes.

"Belle? What are you doing up?" Hermione whispered, sitting up.

"I... Had a bad dream." I murmmerd.

"What about?"

"Hermione... Am I forgetting someone? I feel like... I lost something."

I looked over to her. She look at me sadly. "Maybe you should talk to Blaise about that."

"Zabini? Draco... Draco says he's dangerous... I wouldn't hang out with him if I were you, Hermione."

"You're really going to live by what Malfoy says?"

"I think Draco has the right idea. I always see Zabini staring at me. It's creepy."

"You really don't remember, do you?" Hermione mumbled. "Get some sleep, Belle. The Yule Ball's tomorrow."

I closed my eyes, smiling at the thought of spending the evening dancing with Draco.

I woke up extra early the next morning, and shook Hermione awake. We both had dates to get ready for. I began working through her messy hair, which ended up taking all morning. I pinned my hair up in a neat bun, with small curls hanging down. We both went down for a quick lunch, then back upstairs to do our make up. Once that was all finished up, I put my dress on.

"Oh, Belle! You look great!" Hermione beamed.

"So do you! Are you ready to go?" I asked.

"Yeah... Wait. Aren't you going to wear a necklace?" She asked, noticing my bare collar. She picked up a heart-shaped one off of her nightstand. "How about this?"

"I, er... I don't know where that came from." I said, looking warily at it. "Besides, Draco says he doesn't like it."

"Who cares? This is about you, Belle. Not Malfoy."

I smiled, taking the locket. "I'll think about it."

Hermione and I walked down the stairs, looking for our dates. I had the heart shaped necklace wrapped around my wrist like a bracelet. I saw Draco waiting at the bottom of the stairs, and I rushed over to take his hand. We walked into the Great Hall, which had been completely redecorated for the ball. After the champions danced with their dates, Draco pulled me out on the dance floor and spun me around, song after song. After a while, he went off to get punch, while I sat and relaxed.

I looked at my wrist, studying the necklace, deciding to put it on. Once it was around my neck, I studied the heart. The diamonds glinted in the light, making it even prettier. I flipped it over, reading the back: To my sweetheart, I will always love you.

I gasped, feeling something like a shock run through my body. I had to get out of there, away from all of the happy couples. I rushed through the doors, found a quiet place in the courtyard and let my tears spill over.

What have I done?

I let Malfoy trick me. I most likely broke Blaise's heart. I yelled at my friends for trying to help me. I felt so stupid. I covered my face with my hands, sobbing.

"Belle? Is that you?" I heard someone call. I didn't even look up. I couldn't. I just stayed there, crying into my hands. "What's wrong?" the person asked as he sat next to me.

"I... ruined.... everything." I managed through my sobs. He just chuckled, giving me a hug.

"It's all right, Belle. Everything's going to be just fine." I looked up into Blaise's smiling face.

"P-promise?" I hiccuped.

Blaise wiped the tears from my cheek and leaned in. "Of course, love." I closed the gap between us, taking in the essance that I hadn't realized I missed so much.

He wrapped his arms around me, holding me close. We didn't care about the other students coming in and out of the courtyard, or the noise coming from the Ball. All that mattered to us was that we had each other again, and this time we would never never let anything change that.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled into his chest.

He was quiet, and after a while he released me. I looked up at him in confusion. Silently, he took my hand and led me back inside to the middle of the dance floor. "May I have this dance?" I asked with a smile.

I beamed. He took my waist and spun me around the room, both of us smiling and laughing the whole time. I caught sight of Malfoy glaring at us once or twice, but I just shook it of, not caring at all what he was up to. Hermione and Krum seemed to be having a good time. When I went to talk to her, Blaise refused to let go of me and glared at Krum the whole time.

We stayed at the ball until midnight. when my feet started to ache and my hair started coming undone. We walked together to the stairs, hand in hand.

"I had an amazing time." I said, stepping onto the first stair.

He smiled, giving me a kiss. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Goodnight." I released his hand, walking up the stairs.

"I love you!" he yelled after me.

"I love you, too." I called over my shoulder.

I found Hermione in our dorm room, moping over something stupid Ron said. I comforted her, and afterwards I told her all about my evening with Blaise.
