Born this way(a X-men First class Love story)

I picked up the silver some what rusted scissors and walked slowly into the bathroom. I looked at my self in the mirror. My violet eyes were lifeless and black at the edges, my pale skin was ashen and bruises and scars though faded scattered on my skin. I looked eerie, and to add to it my long black hair looked greasy and matted. I took the scissors and slashed at my hair. It fell and soon my hair was down to my chin. I ran my fingers though my wavy hair. I heard a door open. "Oh my! Cassie! What did you do to your hair!?" My mother cried. I turned slowly. Black hair littered my bathroom's floor. My skin reflected green in the light. “are....are you alright dear? Are you ill? Do we need to send you back?To the....” She whispered. My eyes slitted. “The loony home mum? I'm not going back there....remember I was only 5 years old when dear dad sent me!” She closed her eyes. “Have you been taking your meds?” I sighed and pushed my way into my bedroom. “Yes...you do everything to remind me.” I slumped onto my bed. “Well...I have to!” She followed me and sat down at my desk. “You 'have' to do a lot of things!” I muttered. “Yes which reminds me your father is....coming-” I interrupted her “Not home! Mum! He's a murder and he abuses us!” I cried sitting up. She sighed and got up. “No..he's not coming home to slay but we need to sign somethings....court stuff...” I nodded “ok...get some sleep...” I smiled and squeezed her shoulders. She smiled weakly back and left. I waited tell I couldn't hear her footsteps before I climbed out my window and clambered up to the roof. I gazed out onto the Atlantic ocean. My house faced a beach in Palm Beach, Florida. If I looked hard enough I could make out the shapes of dolphins jumping in the blue water. I sighed and looked down at my hands. I stifled a scream. On my hand was black snake tattoo. It's tail was in it's mouth and it looked angry. I looked closer and it's green eye looked at me. “wow...not normal!” I muttered. I climbed into my room again and grab a pair of black jeans and a red v-neck. I pulled on knee high boots and black gloves. “Cassie?” My mom asked when I ran down the stairs. “Be back mom!!” I cried behind me. I flew down the street. I turned down a alley. I slowed and climbed a set of stairs that lead to an open room. It was filed with goth,punk, emo kids...teenagers with problems. “Cassidy!”My friend Raven cried. “Hello...is Kim in?” I asked. Raven was a small girl with blonde hair dyed black in places and mossy green eyes. “Oh...um I think so go on in!” I nodded a thanks and entered a small hall way. It stank and the only light was small lamps on each end. I knocked at a small door marked Kim Clark. “Enter!” A bright voice called. I opened the door and stuck my head in. “Hello Kim!” I smiled. “Sit sit! How are you Cassidy?” “uh well I think.” I sat. “I love your hair! What's bothering you?” She asked. “Um well this.” I took off my glove and showed her the tattoo. She stared confused for moment. “Well it's-” Her voice cut off. She looked up and blood dripped from her mouth. Her blue eyes turned black as if someone spilled ink into them. Kim fell to the floor gasping then fell silent. I stared....It happen again....no! I'm not a murder! It's not my fault! I thought. Then as I ran back home, I understood and realized. “I'm a mutant....”
