Tired of Emmett's teasing, Edward dares him to play a prank on Rosalie involving diamonds. Emmett takes the dare because even though Rose will be mad, he suspects they will have a lot of fun making up.

She wasn't speaking to him.
"Sweetie?"
Silence.
He revealed a little blue box.
Her eyes flashed. She extended her palm. He dropped the box into it.
She cracked open the lid.
Her eyes blazed. "What's this?"
Emmett picked up the single diamond stud saying, "I'm thinking about getting my ear pierced."
"Get out now!"
