Chapter 1

Well, Hello There, Dally

"So, I'm gonna assume you're a Greaser?" I said. "Got that right, girly." "Thought so." "So, you don't seem like a Greaser or a Soc. What do you do for fun in this part of town?" "There's not much to do. I usually just go to the park with my friends." "You should visit the part of town I live in. Plenty to do there. It's only five minutes from here." "I might just take you up on that offer." I said giving a flirty smile. "I'd be sad if you didn't." There's that smirk again. We just continued talking til the morning. We were up all night.

"Come get breakfast everyone!" my mom said. I looked at the clock. It was 8:00. "Damn. It's already eight." I said. "I should get going then." "Awh sad face." "Don't worry. I'm sure you'll see me again." he said with a wink. He started climbing out my window. "Wait, I forgot to ask your name." "It's _ _ ." "Hm, a name as pretty as the girl." I blushed. "You should visit my part of town today. I'd like to know more about you." he said smiling. "Don't worry, I will." I said with a wink and he climbed down my house.

I stuck my head out the window and saw him wink at me. He walked down the street. When he was out of sight, I went downstairs. I sat down at the table and my older brother, Derek said, "Good morning, little girl." "Hey, I'm not a little girl anymore. I'm 16, so shut up." I lightly punched his arm. "You'll always be a little girl to me." He started tickling me. "Derek, stop! I hate you! Quit it!" I couldn't stop laughing. I finally got away. I tried to look upset, but I couldn't be mad at him. "You suck." I smiled. "That's my job." "Whatever." I was about to sit down, when the doorbell rang. "No, mom. I got it." I said when my mom started to put her tray of food back down to answer it. I went to the door and opened it. I could NOT believe my eyes.

Mark. Mark was standing right in front of me. "What do you want?" I asked, anger building inside me. "_ , I'm sorry. Take me back?" He held a bouquet of flowers in front of me. I was in complete disbelief. "Get the fvck out of here." I said and slammed the door. "Ow!" I heard him say. I smiled and walked back into the kitchen. "What was that slam for?" Derek asked. "I'll explain later. Let's just enjoy breakfast." I started eating my waffles. After I finished, I went up to my room and watched a little TV. At about noon, I decided to pay Dally's side of town a little visit.

I took a quick shower. I put on a little eyeliner and mascara and only ran a brush through my hair. I never really did anything with it. I went to my room to get dressed. I put on some denim shorts, which made my butt look pretty good, not about to lie, an All Time Low off-the-shoulder t-shirt with a dark purple tank top underneath it and my red chuck taylors. I grabbed some money and my phone and went downstairs.

"Mom, I'm gonna go walk around town." "Okay, be careful." "Aren't I always?" She gave me a 'yeah right' look. I laughed and left. He said it was only five minutes away. Not too bad. I walked in the direction he did when he left. I hoped he didn't take any turns because my plan was just to walk straight. I reached a part of town I've never been to before. This had to be it. I walked around it for awhile. I noticed a lot of guys that kinda dressed like Dally did. Leather jackets and jeans.

I walked up to a group of four. "Um, excuse me? Can you tell me where I could find Dallas Winston?" "What business do y'all got with Dally?" the one wearing a Mickey Mouse t-shirt asked. "I just wanna know where he is. Okay? Now tell me and I won't feel like I wasted a minute of my life talking to you." He looked me up and down. "You dig okay, baby. Sure, we know where Dall is." "Are you gonna just tell me or are you gonna be gentlemen and take me there?" "Well, we were heading that way anyway. He's at my house." said one of them. He had dark gold hair that he combed back, long, silky, and straight. He was pretty cute. "Alright, well let's go." I smiled at him. He smiled back and said, "Alright."

We all started walking. "I'm _ , by the way." The one with the Mickey Mouse shirt said, "I'm Two-bit. This is Ponyboy (he pointed to a boy with brown hair, who looked to be the youngest), Johnny (he pointed to a boy who looked about my age with cuts on his face) and that's Sodapop (he pointed to the cute one)." "Nice to meet y'all." I said. "Likewise." Johnny said. I think I'm gonna get along just fine with these guys.

We arrived at the house quickly. When we walked in there were three other guys sitting on the couch watching TV. One, who appeared to be the oldest, must have heard us come in and turned to face us. "Hey, guys. Who's your friend?" "Hey, Darry. This is-" Ponyboy started to say, but Dally cut him off. "_ !" "Hey, Dally." I said smiling. "You guys know each other?" Sodapop asked. "Yeah, we met yesterday." I said. "Alright, well that's Darry (he pointed to the oldest) and Steve (he pointed to a guy laying on the couch)." Ponyboy said. "Hey, y'all." I said.

The guys all went to sit down, some on the couch, some on the floor. "Hey, Dally, come here." I said. He got up and followed me onto the front porch. "What's up?" he asked. "I came here to see you, so let's go somewhere." I smiled. "Alright." he smirked. Hello, butterflies. We started walking around town. "So, you said there was plenty to do here. What's there to do?" I asked. "Well, there's always the drive-in." "Sounds fun. Let's go." It didn't take long to get there. When we got there, there seemed to be a combination of Greasers and the people I believed to be Socs.

There was some beach movie or something playing. I didn't really care for those kind of movies. I was into horror movies and stuff like that. We found some seats up front. We couldn't really hear the movie cause of people talking and a fight or two going on behind us. Aren't movies supposed to be quiet? "I'm about to cut everyone if they don't shut up and let me watch the damn movie." I said. "That's cute." Dally said. "I'm not kidding." "Never said you were." "Good. Cause I'm not. Let's get out of here. I hate people." "Sounds good. I hate people too."

We started walking back to the entrance. Suddenly, someone shouted, "Dally!"
