Life is Full of Surprises( Harry Potter love story) Part 37

You sat in the library flipping through ' Witch Weekly' when you found something that had caught your eye. You couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the article of course written by Rita Skeeter. It was about how Hermione was " toying" with two famous boys hearts. You could only read so much of the article before you got fed up with all the lies about Harry and Hermione. You knew Hermione wasn't upset about this and even laughed about it, but it made you wonder how stupid people had to be to actually believe this stuff. You packed up your books and headed out of the library and down to dinner. You were thinking about how things were finally turning around when you were pulled out of your thoughts by your name being called. You turned to see Draco walking fast to catch up with you. The little smile that had been on your face quickly disappeared. " We need to talk." Draco said out of breath. " I have nothing to say to you." you said through your teeth. " You need to listen to me, I-" " No Draco you need to listen to me." You cut him off. " My life has been a living he^l because of the rumor, Ginny won't even talk to me anymore because of it. I don't want to talk to you anymore or even see you for that matter. I thought this time would be different but it wasn't, you played me Draco and I'm sick of you being a bipolar be-ach to me. I'm done. Anything we had is done." You started to walk away when he called back " It wasn't me who started the rumor." " You turned around slowly confused. " Really Draco? Then who did start it? And no matter who started it, you didn't say it was wrong, you just went along with it which is the worst part." You started to walk away again not wanting to hear anymore. " It was Dave." You stopped right in your tracks. You froze at the sound of his name, he hadn't bothered you in a while and you were hoping he was done with you. It didn't make sense why would he start the rumor, if anything he would start it about you and him. You couldn't handle this right now, you needed to think this over in quiet. " Okay Draco you want to talk? Start telling people it's not true and we will see from there." before he could respond you were gone. You walked to the Great Hall quickly grabbing a roll and walking out. " Where are you going?" Harry asked running behind you. " I have a lot of homework to do, I'm just going to go to the common room and work so I'm not up all night." you lied. Harry bought it and let you go on without any more questions. You dropped your bag on the floor next to your chair and sat down deep in thought.

The next few days people started to look at you differently, no longer with hate a disgust, but with sorry looks and smiles. I sat down at the Gryffindor table during lunch and for the first time in months Ginny sat next to you and smiled. You were taken by surprise, but maybe she was finally coming to her senses. " Hey can we talk?" Ginny asked. You nodded and followed her out of the Great Hall. " I'm sorry." Ginny said immediately " I was wrong, I should have listened to you and I should have never done those mean things. I understad if you never want to be my friend again because what I did was horrible. I just want you to know how very very very sorry I am." Ginny finished looking to you for a response. You wanted to be mad at her, she had treated you so horribly. But you just couldn't bring yourself to being mad at her. You missed her way too much to have this go on any longer. " I forgive you, but only because I really need someone to talk to about stuff." I said jokingly. " Oh are you talking about Seamus? Because I totally saw the two of you making out the other night. It was getting heated." Ginny laughed winking at you. You two walking back into the Great Hall laughing together and sat down. " FINALLY!" Ron exclaimed " I was starting to think the two of you would never make up." " Oh shut it Ronald." Hermione said.

Much later that night, you sat in the empty common room with Seamus, telling him everything that had gone on in the last couple of days. " Ginny knows." you said finishing up the story on how you became friends again. " Knows what?" Seamus asked a little confused. " About us.... she saw us the other night so she just put two and two together." You said blushing a little. " She was watching us? " Seamus asked. " Haha yeah, I don't really know the full story behind it but I wouldn't be surprised if she is watching right now." You laughed. " Well then we should give her a show." Seamus said playfully pushing you down on the couch you two were sitting on and started kissing your neck. " Seamus" you giggled. He kissed up your neck, to your jaw, and then finally to your lips. He was basically on top of you when you heard someone yell " God you guys are disgusting!" you sat up to see Ginny running back up the girls' staircase. " Where were we?" you asked playfully and Seamus responded by putting his lips to yours again. You pulled away breathing heavily and gave Seamus one more quick peck. " I'll see you in the morning." and went up to your room.

"Looked like you were having fun." Ginny snickered moving to your bed. " Oh shut it! Why were you watching anyways?" You asked. " I was going down there to see if you were there and walked down as you two starting eating each others faces." Ginny said " By the way, maybe we could go on double dates now..." she said the last part quietly. " Wait what?" you asked very confused. " You know Michael Corner.... well we met at the Yule Ball and we've been kinda going out since then." Ginny said blushing. " OH MY GOD NO WAYYYYY!" you yelled waking some of the girls in your room " Why didn't you tell me sooner?" you asked offended. " Well we weren't exactly on speaking terms for a while and then I've just been waiting for the right time." You hugged Ginny tightly and continued to catch up for the rest of the night.

Seamus's P.O.V

I watched _ go up the girl's dormitory and decided I should do the same and started to walk back up to my dorm. When I opened the door everyone started cheering, startling me. " What's going on?" I asked confused. " I saw you down stairs getting it on with that girl." Ron said smiling at me. My heart started to beat faster. Oh no Harry must know about us oh god he's going to kill me, but he was smiling too. " So who was it I couldn't see her." Ron asked. I immediately felt relieved. Harry didn't know, nobody knew. " Uh we are keep it on the down low right now." I said walking over to my bed. " Why!" Dean demanded. " Uh... there's someone she doesn't want to know because she thinks they will get mad." I said trying not to look at Harry. " What does she have like crazy older brother or something thing?" Harry laughed. " Something like that." I said quietly. " You better be careful, because I would kill any guy that was hooking up with Ginny." I gulped as Harry opened his mouth " Yeah I'm so glad _ is staying away from all that stuff it's the last thing she needs at this point." I changed and got into bed, pretending to sleep even though I knew I was going to be up all night.

Normal P.O.V

It was the day of the 3rd task and you walked to the stand with Ginny where you would wait for the task to end. You sat with Ginny and the rest of the Weasleys and Hermione. Everyone seemed pretty tense as were to because you just had a bad feeling about today. The campions lines up at different entrances Harry and Cedric got to go first, then followed by Krum and then Fleur. The next couple of hours were very boring you sat there with Ginny just chatting as Fleur came out and then Krum. You started to get worried that Harry had gotten hurt. Finally Harry had appeared laying over Cedric's limp body. Your heart started to beat faster and you stood up to get a better look. All the teachers surrounded the two of them and then as Cedric's parents approached you noticed Harry getting dragged away by Professor Moody. You told Ginny you would be right back and went off to follow them. When you were out of the stand and out of everyones sight you felt two strong hands grab onto you. One covering your mouth so your screams were muffled and other lifting you off the ground and taking you into a classroom. They set you down in front of a familiar office door. He opened the door and pushed you in, interrupting Professor Moody. Harry looked surprised as you were being put into a chair next to him, finally seeing that Dave was the one who had taken you. You had a terrible feeling in your stomach and you just knew nothing good was going come from this. " Why did you bring her here?" Moody asked Dave. " She was following you so I thought it would be better to just get everything done at once." Dave answered. Your stomach dropped, this was not going to end well. Then Moody continued to explain how he was a loyal servant of Voldemort and how he made sure Harry would win so he would end up in the graveyard. You could only imagine the look on your face as you heard all of this. " And this one here. She was our last resort get to you from her, but that plan didn't work well." Moody said glaring at Dave. " It's not my fault she's so darn stubborn!" He countered. " Well, I'll just have to finish the two of you myself, imagine how proud he will be when he find out I finally killed the famous Harry Potter!" Moody said raising his wand about to kill the both of you. You gave Harry a look that said everything you needed and you closed your eyes preparing to die as the door burst open. Dumbledore, Snape, and McGonagall entering and stupefying Moody and then Dave. Dumbledore gave his orders and McGonagall took you to the hospital wing to make sure you were okay and then she left to go do some other things. You sat on one of the hospital beds gripping your knees to your chest, still in shock from the past events. The Weasleys and Hermione entered the hospital wing, Ginny running straight towards you making sure you were okay. But you couldn't talk, you wouldn't find the words so you sat there silently hugging your knees. Mrs. Weasley seemed very worried and went over to Madame Pomfrey. Shortly after Harry arrived and was placed in the bed next to you. You were released and everyone else was told to let Harry rest. You walked back to the common room saying good bye to the older Weasleys who no longer went to the school and immediately took a seat. You still couldn't bring yourself to talking and it was driving everyone crazy. You ended up spending the night in the common room staring at the fire place waiting for Harry to come back. You couldn't sleep at all so finally the next morning when Ginny came back down you realized how tired you were. You sat in the common room as slowly Ron and Hermione also joined you. Not soon after Harry entered the common room and you stood and said " We need to talk NOW!"
