Fate

He fell to the ground as a small dagger was plunged into his back. Niether him or her knew what had just happend, but as he fell a cold dark figure could start to be sceen after his body was on the cold earth. She ran to him. Not knowing if he was still alive or if cold fate had torn them apart, without even letting them say goodbye, but as he always said it was never goodbye, but it was. For he was never going to come back to her. To start were they left off. To keep going. As she got to him she fell to her knees. Praying that he was still alive.
He was, but only barely. His breathing was very scarse, and shaking, but at least they were together as there last night came to a close. She held onto him as the battle all around them continued.
"Please stay with me..Stay here, don't leave me..please...." She said over and over as hot, salty, tears ran down her pure face. He said nothing in return. He just laied there. Waiting for her to relize that he couldn't. After a while she looked at him in the eyes. Thoose green eyes that always pirced threw her body everytime she looked at him, were growing fainter. Why couldn't it of been her? Why did it have to be him? He said but only three words before leaving her to face to world by herself. The hero was dead. Gone forever.
