The story of the four Apprentice's.

I woke up in the Apprentice's den at dawn. Birdpaw, Darkpaw, and Streampaw were still asleep, so I padded out of the den and found the Dawn patrol heading out of the Camp. There was only a few pieces of Fresh-kill left on the pile from last night so Oakpaw took the vole and padded back towards the den to eat it, but before he could go any further his mentor, Falconclaw stopped him. " The kit's are up early this morning and they are very hungry, take that vole to the kit's. " Oakpaw sighed but did as his mentor told him to and took the vole to the nursery. He dropped it in front of the kit's and they hurriedly ran towards to eat the vole. He padded out and found Streampaw awake. Her beautiful silvery pelt shining in the sunlight. Oakpaw padded towards her and touched noses with her. " Good morning, Oakpaw. " Purred Streampaw. Her soft blue eye's gazing into his amber ones. " You too, want to share a squirrel when the Dawn patrol gets back? " Asked Oakpaw. " Sure. " Replied Streampaw. They groomed eachother's fur until the Dawn patrol finally came and dropped pieces of prey on the Fresh-kill pile. Oakpaw quickly grabbed a squirrel and put it next to Streampaw to eat it with her. Birdpaw soon came padding out of the den and she too sat down beside them. " Morning guys. " Yawned Birdpaw. " Morning. " Said both Streampaw and Oakpaw. " Is Darkpaw sleeping in again? " Asked Streampaw a glint of amusement in her eye's. Suddenly Oakpaw felt his neck fur bristle. Why was he feeling jealous? He knew Streampaw only loved him and not Darkpaw. But yesterday he saw Darkpaw talking to Streampaw, maybe... maybe Streampaw did love Darkpaw and didn't love me...
