Where i thought i belonged

I was walking through the front doors of the Grelot High on the first day of school. I was happy I was out of middle school and i was ready to grow up. My besties were waiting down the hall by the lockers so i walked up to say hi. "Hey guys long time no see!" i said. "Oh hi August.." one of my friends said. It was Macy. She had long bleach blonde hair, and only really looked attractive from behind. She was a butterhead. Everything looked good but the head. "Hey August!!" said Tally. Out of our little clique, she was my best friend. We were like sisters. Or twins for that matter. In middle school, we were the girls on top, Not the snobby up tight ones you see in movies, but the nice social butterflies. We made a group of four. Me, Tally, Macy, and Stevie. We ususally got along, but jealousy would step in when one girl had a guy that the other girl liked. "Well um, I'm going to class girls. See you later" said Macy. "Bye" the three of us said with a fake smile. "Oh, welcome back august.." she snarled as she tossed her hair. "Tally, whats up with her?" i had asked "Dunno."she shruged. "ok well looks like i have all my classes with you Stevie, and three with you tallly." I shuffled to my locker trying not to forget to maintain my flashy smile at every that passed. Gee... Macy was a total batch of cookies this morning... I silently thought to myself. "Stevie, why havent you said anything this morning?" I asked as she followed me to 1st period English. "oh, um.. i was talk.....she said..." she trailed off into mumbles so i stopped and looked her in the eye and said "whats is up with you?" "oh im just tierd that all..." "ok.." i said back. I managed to catch a guilty look off of her face as i turned around. What on earth was going on? It was lunch and i dont really like eating in front of people so i drank a shake instead. I sat by Macy but when i got comfortable she maneuvered her chair about an inch away from me. "ok.. What the is wrong with you macy?!?" i said loudly as i stood up from my seat with my fists balled up. "Whats wrong with me? hunny, your the one yelling." she said with an smirk. "I grabbed my purse and stormed out the door with tally not to far behind. "AUGUST WAIT!" she called. I stoped and crossed my arms and said sternly "what?" "look august.. Macy said she saw you up in New York when she went up there to visit her grandparents while you visited your dad she tried to say hi but she said you ignored her and she also said somthing fell out of your pocket. she well.. she said..." "tally! what did she say? i didnt even see her!" "well she said it was receipt for birth control and cigarettes!"
