My knight in shining armor (Neville Longbottom love story)

personality: protective, brave, nice, stubborn, caring, smart, strong, loving, creative, intimidating when she wants to be, funny, not exactly what most people would call 'normal' but in a good way :P.
Best Friends: Stormy Winters, Ginny, Neville, Luna, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Fred and George(even though you wont really be seeing them as they have already graduated).

"Get your lazy as.s out of bed this minute, you good for nothing-"
"IM UP!" I yelled, interrupting Ms. Diaz's screaming rants.
"Well hurry up or I'll throw your breakfast in the trash!" She called back rottenly.
"Biitch." I muttered as I got up and walked over to my small wardrobe. I pulled out a pair of dark skinny jeans and a thin red long sleeve V-neck shirt. Then I pulled on some black converse and once I was done with that I brushed out my brown hair and then applied just a bit of eye-liner and mascara.
Then I grabbed my trunk and ran downstairs, leaving my trunk in the front hallway then going into the kitchen.
I sat down in-between Jake and Callie, the only other orphans close to my age. Ms.Diaz threw 2 biscuts and foul looking grits onto my plate then walked off quickly.
OK, explanation time. I'm sixteen, my names Elizabth Greene, and I'm and orphan. Oh, and I'm a witch going into my seventh year as a Gryffindor at Hogwarts. Im a pureblood whos parents died in the first war against Voldemort and was sent here. But anyway, Ms.Diaz, the owner of the orphanage, is cruel, mean, ugly, and downright horrid!
"G'morning." Jake muttered, shoving food down his throat quickly, as to not have to taste its disgusting flavors. All the other orphans were doing the same.
"Morning." I replied dully, starting on the slop infront of me that was supposedly breakfast.
When we were all done with our 'food' we all split up. The younger kids went up to their rooms to play and hide from Ms.Diaz and Callie and Jake joined me in the front hall to say goodbye.
"We'll miss you while your at Hogwarts, Liz!" Callie said hugging me. Her and Jake were both muggles but because of me they knew about Hogwarts and magic.
"I'm gonna miss you guys to!" I said, switching over to hug Jake. Then I pulled back and looked at my watch. It was already 10:48. I had to hurry.
"I've got to go guys. Bye! Miss you!" I said as I grabbed my trunk and started out the door. They said bye back then I jogged down the street with my trunk in tow, towards the park.
When I reached it I looked around for a sight of red hair. There! Mr.Weasley was waiting for me, standing by the water fountain.
"Hello Mr.Weasley." I said. I smiled at him but it wasnt very big. I could see the stress and waryness on his face. Though now adays with Voldemort at large again everybody was probably the same.
"Its nice to see you again, Liz." He said. I smiled at him again and he smiled back slightly.
He held out his arm and I took it linking my arm with his. Without another word we apparated to platform 9 3/4. But it wasnt its usual cheerful surrounding. It was gloomy, with the younger kids left the safety of their parents and boarded the train that was being gaurded by death eaters. They didnt wear masks but everybody could recognize them.
Mr.Weasley and I walked quickly to where Mrs.Weasley and Ginny were standing. I gave each of them a hug. I looked but didnt see Ron anywhere.
"Where's Ron?" I asked. Mrs.Weasley looked down and seemed like she was going to cry.
"Gone. He, Harry, and Hermione left. They wont be at school this year." she said quietly. I nodded, understanding. I was kind of glad Harry was coming to school. If he was then Snape would have handed him right to Voldemort.
The whistle blew and Ginny gave both her parents another hug then we made or way to the train. We walked past the death eaters and boarded. We quickly found an empty compartment and sat down.
We sat in silence for a little while, Ginny closest to the window, with me next to her, wand drawn incase any death eaters decided to mess with us. Then the door opened and I looked up clutching my wand tighter. It was only Luna.
"May I sit here?" she asked. Her voice was just slightly less airy as before. I nodded and got up. I hugged her glad she was okay. Then we all sat down again.
"Has everything been alright Luna?" I asked. She shook her head.
"The death eaters have been trying to get Daddy to stop writing the quibbler or at least put things they liked in it. They thought that what he was saying was foolish and unrespectfull." she said.
"Well im sorry to hear that." I said. She nodded. For a while it was silent again. Then the door slid open and again and a boy stood there. Well more of a man than a boy.
"Neville!?" I asked in shock. He had definately grown up. He lost almost every trace of baby fat, was taller, and stronger. He was skinnier and well...hot! Im not just saying that, he looked very handsome.
"Yeah." He said. His voice was also slightly deeper. Another thing to add to the list. "May I sit here?" he asked. I nodded.
He sat down across from me next to Luna. Neville had always been one of my best friends at Hogwarts.
"So, Lizzy, you've, um, really changed over the summer." He said. It was obvious what he meant.
Over the summer I had started to fill out more. My curves were better, face had less baby fat, breast bigger, and legs longer. Jake had said I was hot but I didnt believe it. Oh and I hit him upside the head for it. But anyway!
"Im not the only one!" I said guesturing to him. He smiled a tiny bit.
"Thanks, I think." he said. I nodded.
"So, they still treating you the same at the orphanage?" he asked. My small smile disappeared.
"Um, n-no, not exactly the same." I said. He looked at me confused.
"So...they're treating you better?" He asked. I shook my head.
"Actually, its worse. Much worse. You see there were these men, who came to the orphanage. They were really interested in me. Of course, Ms.Diaz didnt care what they did to me as long as they gave her a bit of money for visiting the children. It was horrible." I said. by now tears were streaming down my face.
Ginny put a hand on my shoulder and Neville switched over on the other side of me. He hugged me and I cried into his chest.
"Its alright. They cant do anything to you now." he whispered to me. After a minute I calmed down and took my face out of his chest and wipped my eyes. Luna gave me a sympathetic and kind smile.
After I had calmed down we were just about to start a game of exploding snap to get our minds off of it when the door flew open. We all looked up in surprise, me and Neville already pulling out wands.
In the doorway stood three death eaters. I recognized them as Crowly, Yaxley, and Dolohov.
I jumped out of my seat and held my wand tightly. I promised Mrs.Weasley I would try to keep Ginny safe. Plus it was in my instincts to protect and stand up for my friends.
"Oh! What do we have here?" Dolohov said smirking. I glared at him.
"Just grad the Lovegood girl and lets go! I want to get going." Yaxley said. At this I possistion myself infront of Luna. Neville stood up as well and stood next to me. Slightly to the side so Ginny was also being blocked.
"Move mudbloods!" Crowly spat. I shot daggers at him.
"For your information, we're purebloods and staying where we are you dirty excuse for a-" he cut me off with a slap across the face. I was used to being hit and stayed where I was. I turned back glaring at him.
"Oh! Pureblood and feisty! I like her." Dolohov said grinning evilly. I spat at him. He glared at me as he wipped it off his neck then reached out and grabbed the front of my shirt, pulling me forward.
He put his face in mine and snarled out "Do you want to do that again?" I continued to glare then spit in his face. He growled and wipped it off his cheek, pulling his wand and pressing the tip into my throat.
"Dolohov! You heard her, shes pureblood. At least dont kill her yet." Yaxley said. Dolohov glanced at him then looked back at me. He glared one last time the shoved me over into Neville. He caught me and steadied me.
"What do you want with me?" Luna asked.
"Its not us who wants you Lovegood, its the dark lord." Crowly sneered. I raised my wand at him.
"Shes staying with us!" I said. The three pointed their wands at me and Neville and Ginny both stood up, backing me up with their wands pointing at them. Luna stood slightly back but with her wand out as well.
"Thats what you think girl!" Yaxley said then all of a sudden he was like black smoke. he went over our heads. I spun and and the smoke seemed to envelope Luna and then she was gone with the smoke. I spun back around and saw that she was being held by Yaxley infront of us, with his wand to her throat.
"Let her go you Bastard As.s!" I snarled. He juust sneered and backed out of the compartment, the other two pointing their wands at us and blocking the way.
"Stupify!" I said but Dolohov had just cried "Crucio!" I fell to the ground in pain. I screamed and writhed and Ginny and Neville knelt down beside me. The death eaters left and the connection was broken.
I was left on the ground, panting for breath as my chest heaved up and down. I felt a few tears roll down my face.
Neville picked me up and set me down on the seat. They sat on either side of me and I put my face on Neville's shoulder.
"Luna, shes gone!" I said. Ginny rubbed my back.
"I know, but she'll be fine. Dont worry." Neville said, but he sounded worried as well.
The rest of the ride we were silent and kept our wands out. Nothing else happened and once we got to the station everybody walked over to where the carriages usually were but they werent there.
Some death eaters grouped us by our year but I kept Ginny close, and they didnt realize she was a 6th year. We all had to walk up to the castle and when we got there we all sat in the great hall, silently. Everybody but most of the slytherins were looking depressed and the younger kids looked scared.
The kids were sorted quickly then Snape stood up and gave a small speach of how Alecto and Amycus Carrow will be two new proffessors and Amycus will be teaching Defense against the Dark arts, and Alecto is teaching the Muggle studies class. He also said that they were in charge of the disapline and punishment. Oh Joy! NOT!
Once he was done food appeared and everybody ate in silence. When we were done we all headed to our common rooms and didnt even stay in the common room to get caught up or play exploding snap like normal.
As I climbed into bed my first thought was This is going to be a LONG year! Then I fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.
