Best First Week of School Ever!!
So, tomorrow is Wednesday, which means it's the middle of the week. So far this week (my first week of the 2011 school year) has had it's ups and downs, but overall it's been freakin' awesome! Here's a quick recap of what's happened
Monday, August 1, 2011.
Homeroom: My first male teacher ever, Coach Nichols, can do some awesome voices and impressions of people! He did an Austin Powers voice, an Arnold Schwazenneger voice, and a Dr. Doofenschmirtz (from Phineas and Ferb) voice. At first I was sort of half-listening, but when he did an eerily accurate impression of Bellatrix LeStrange -skipping around the front of the class singing "I killed Sirius Black, I killed Sirius Black!", no joke!!- I officially decided he was my
favorite teacher. Ever.
3rd Period Chorus: I sat in the back of the class with my best friend. Our
teacher, Ms. Patten, who's a professional singer (but not famous or anything) kept it short by giving us a quick lecture about rules and leading us in a warmup and singing our scales. Then she passed around a class syllabus and posted our setlist for our first concert of the year on the whiteboard. The setlist was as follows:
Opening Number- To Have A Home by Darren Criss (From AVPS!!)
Next number- Status Quo by Joey Richter (From Starship!!!)
Next- Listen to Your Heart (Censored version LMAO) by A.J. Holmes (From MAMD!!!!!)
Finale (Closing number)- "I Wanna Be (A Starship Ranger)" by the Starship cast (She said it would be a fun ending to our first concert!)
I decided Ms. Patten was my new favorite teacher. I had to resist the urge not to run
up and hug her. Literally. I jumped up to hug her then sat back down before I actually went up to hug her. I bet she thinks I'm ADHD now. LMAO.
Sooo that's about it so far...chorus rehearsals have been awesome so far, and all my teachers are really cool!! Chorus has been interesting...my best friend and I already know all the songs, so we're doing well, but everyone else is trying their hardest to learn! I think everyone's favorite song is "I Wanna Be". Someone always starts laughing uncontrollably while we try to practice that song. :D I never thought I'd say this but I can't wait for school!! I guess having a Starkid fan and a Harry Potter fan for a teacher really changes things!!! XD

Lol I forgot to put that my science teacher, Mrs. McAuley, has a pet snake she keeps in the classroom, and it hasn't been doing so well so she asked if anyone could speak parseltongue to it...lolzz!!! :D
And yeah, I'm sooo glad my teachers turned out to be this cool..I never would've guessed!! XD They all seemed so normal at open house!

Oh cool! I cant wait for school now! Im in the middle. Im like im anxcious to go and then im scared because im going to a new school. I still have 20 more days till my school starts. And haha! Over here its tuesday!
