Have you ever had a true friend?
I only ask because it doesn't feel like I have. (I mean at home, not on the Internet) it's like even if I were in a crowd of people, I could still feel completely alone.
I've had friends who I could talk to when I needed minor help, or were a place to go to hang out, but it didn't feel like they would really accept me if I shared my thoughts or big problems with them. That's one of the reasons I sometimes have to vent when I'm on here, because I have no one else to tell. So, my question to you is: have you ever had a friend that you can go to for anything? When you need to cry or vent, or even just to laugh?

Not to brag but, I have two. They can tell if I'm okay or not with just one look at me. We know how we each feel just by a feeling. Our feelings affect one another. When we need to vent or anything we know we can trust each other. If we're feeling down we go to each other to make our day immensly better. I'm so thankful I have them.
I'm nineteen years old and I have to say that I've only had one true friend my entire life. She's been my best friend for about two and a half years and I can go to her for absolutetly anything and I know that she won't judge me or think of me any different and vice versa. I've been through my fair share of friends good and bad. Even with my amazing friend, I still feel alone sometimes, but I think that it is just part of life. If they don't accept you, find friend that will! Keep trekking on!
Yeah, I have. I've been lucky enough to have a number of them. It's great to be able to tell them anything and not have them judge. We have our own version of ESP... even over texts, we know when the other isn't fine, or needs to talk about something. :P
I do and she's like my sister. at first i thought she was only just a friend to have around and another girl was my best friend.But the girl i thought was my best friend never stood up for me if i was being made fun of. But my "sister" did and it took me forever to finally realize that she's always been there even when I pushed her away.
yeah but I only have one.I have like 8 friends and 3 best friends and only 1 i can talk to about anything.Sometimes even if im with that friend I still feel alone I think it just happens to everybody,but if I need to vent and don't feel like talking to someone I come on here.
i have a best friend that i now never get to see. we have been close since she was born a year after me and i love her with all my heart. now i can say i have 2 close friiends and this one is close to beeing my boyfriend
I get what you mean about being in a crowd of people and feeling alone, I'd go through my phone list and then realize I dont really have anyone that I can talk to, maybe 2 or 3 at the most. I do have 3 people I can talk to but since I switched schools, it's just not going well anymore, everything's bottled up. So maybe only 1 person I can talk to about almost everything but we dont talk much.
My family does all that for me. Those are the friends I have. I've had a single one true friend, but now isn't so true anymore. We do share some things, but there's just something a little strained about our relationship now. I'm sorry you feel so alone...I feel the same, but I haven't a clue how to start changing that, no matter where I am or where I'm going. :\
I have three really ^^ but I really wish I had more..... I know the feeling your talking about when you talk about being a crowd of people and feeling alone...... That's why I always keep one of my 3 bestest buddies close by lol :)
