Girls
are fragile creatures.
Easy to hurt.
They seem
easy to lose.
But what you don't see
is the tears
she cries
every night
since you've left her
the picture
of the two of you
she keeps hidden
in a drawer
the one
small piece
of hope
that maybe
you'll realize
how much
she really loves
you.

Every girl
deserves a chance
to be loved.
A chance to change.
A chance to feel
special
to a special person.
I pray for every girl
who's been overlooked
cheated
teased
betrayed
hurt;
I pray that someday
she will fill the
huge gaping hole
a sorry
excuse
for a human
being
left in her soul.

I pray
that one day
an angel
will come along
for every one of
these girls
with a smile
for his girl
an angel
without wings.
An angel
who can't help saying
"I love you"
when she walks in
a room.
Someone
who will
make her laugh
just to see her
face light
up.
An angel
who will
never
go
even a
single day
without telling her
she
is
his
everything.
