Snape's Daughter: Chapter 22

~~~THE NEXT MORNING~~~
You wake up and it's realize it's Friday. That means, no classes! You curl your hair into thick locks, btw your hair looks super short like that. You put on your yellow smiley winky face v-neck, with dark blue skinny jeans, and your usual boots. You just put on mascara, grab your wand, put it in your boot, and go.
When you get to the common room you can't find two certain ginger doofs, but you do see everyone else. Wide awake in their street clothes, headed out. You descend the boys' staircase and stand in the open door frame. "Knock knock." You say, leaning on a side of the door. "Come in Princess Cassandra." They say together "What's with the Princess stuff?" You ask, generally confused. "Nothing really." George says. "Hmmm." You say deep in thought, you enter the room and sit down on Fred's bed. Your think about your thought of your memory, becoming a death eater? and your little memory or day dream about Malfoy and shutter. "What's wrong Cassie?" They ask you. "I need to think." You say, getting up and leaving the room.
You find daddy walking down the main coriander and pull him aside. Daddy, I have a really weird feeling about something that involves Draco." "What is it?" He asks you, looks of confusion, concern, anger, and compassion, cross his face. "What did Mr. Malfoy do to you?" He said through stiff lips, his face, expressionless. "I think, it's something you did." He looks at you confused and leads you to his office.
He takes a seat and you do the same. "What do you think I did?" He asked you concerned. "Well I think you did this. I'm not sure." You say shaking your head. "Care to elaborate?" He asks you, and you continue. "I kneep having this day dream or memory or dream. That when I was 9, Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy made and agreement with you and mum that when Draco and I turn 17 we are to get married." You look at his face, it's filled with regret. "Stay here." He commands you, leaving you in his office. A few minutes later he comes back but with Malfoy, he pushes him down on the seat next to you. "Mr. Malfoy, she remembers." Was all your dad said, Malfoy's face lit up like a child's face on Christmas morning.
"Cassandra Elizabeth Snape when you were born, you were born dead. Your hair was originally platinum blonde, like Mr. Malfoy's. Your eyes are not hazel like you've grown to know. The color in blue." They both looked at you for your reaction, but they got nothing, so he continued. "Since your my first child I was devastated. Elizabeth, your mother, was worse. She was crying her eyes out on that one night." He took a deep intake of breath and continued. "You see our family is very close to the Malfoy's, Mrs. Malfoy was pregnant with Draco at the time. She told us that she could save you, under one condition. If you marry her son." He gestured to Draco and finished. "She took us to the forbidden forest, and to a spring near the weeping willow. She dipped you in the water and called the water spirits to save you. You opened your eyes and they went from blue to hazel. Your hair turned pure white, just like the moon. And you lived." He concluded.
"So let me get this straight." You say looking at the floor, they looked at you and waited. "So I was born dead, Mrs. Malfoy saved me, but I have to marry him?" You say jerking your thumb in Malfoy's direction "Hey! I'm not that bad!" Malfoy said defensively. "Yes Cassie. That was the condition to let you live." Daddy said. "What if I have feelings for someone else?" "WHAT!?!" Malfoy sputtered.
"Mr. Malfoy, you may leave, NOW." Daddy said to Malfoy. Malfoy ran out the door, shutting it firmly behind him. He turned to you and says gently, "Darling, what do you mean, you have feelings for someone else?" "Daddy, I mean, I might like Fred or George." You say in a hushed tone, knowing Malfoy might be listening. "Sweetheart that's wonderful that you like them, but I don't want you getting hurt. I know what they do, they play tricks on you, they play with your heart and mind, and when you think that they are all yours, they break your heart." "Daddy, how do you know this? You've only known them for two years." "Cassie, I just know. And about marrying Mr. Malfoy, you seem to like the boys a lot. So I'll give you time to choose, make your choice at the Yule Ball, or marry Mr. Malfoy." He said. "Yes daddy." You say getting up to leave.
You walk into the common room to find Ron, Harry, Fred, George, and Herminy there. "Hello Princess Cassie." The twins say, everyone turns to you. You just walk on by, when your on the first step, your turned around by everyone. "What's wrong?" Harry asks you. You shake your head and go upstairs.
You lay on your bed staring out the window at the bright crescent moon. Herminy comes in and sits next to you. "Ok what's wrong." She says You tell her everything that daddy told you about being born dead and end with what you overheard Fred and George say the other night.
She looks at you, "Wow. That's a lot to take in in two and a half days." She says. It gets quiet but you don't mind. You get ready to sleep and lay down. Soon Herminy turns off the lights, seeing that your asleep already fast asleep. "Goodnight Cassie." She whispered to your sleeping self, she falls fast asleep with those final words.
