The next morning you had watch so while you "watched" you also gathered more berries for breakfast and filled everyones flasks from the stream. As you made breakfast over the fire Derik and Sarah started to stirr. You took your peice of bread, ham, and some cold leaft over beans. The others got their food and you all shared the berries for desert. "well that was delicious" Derik said sarcastically. You ignore the comment and said "we need to find someone. someone really old like my father. Someone who might be able to tell us everything." Sarah shrugged "even though I'm a sevant it's rare that i ever leave the castle" Derik perked up "see i told you that you'd need my help!. I know a tavern where men and women go from all over. Its very dark and smelly and-" "we get the picture just tell us how to get there!" inturrupted sarah "you smiled "we'd better walk and talk. i have a feeling the soldiers are gonna be searching this area before too long.
You pack everything up and saddle up. After you get rid of as much evidence that you could, you gallop off into the forest. sarah on your left and derik on your right.
For most of the day you kept a steady pace. It was near sunhigh you started to notice a difference. All day you had walked on sunny area butterflys and birds. A pretty green color. Now it turned almost mossy and a bit smelly. You kept alert for anything. Soon you came upon a small building. You could hear he sound of men some loud and drunk and ohers just talking. You looked at Derik "I can't image you ever had orders to come anywhere near here." He kinda looked a bit embaressed and said "I didn't. I got lost one of my first days when I was 12" She coudn't help but smile a little because you could just imagine him then and how he turned out now. It was just funny "come on!" said Derik avoiding any more of it. You tied the horses a little away so no one would steal them.
