My favourite Beatle and why!
I decided to do the '30 day Beatle challenge stolen from Nowhere_Girl :)
I love doing these things, and love hearing others opinions! :)
Chapter 1
Day 1: Favorite Beatle and why
As much as I love The Beatles, over the past few months I've fell in love with George Harrison. For a couple of reasons:
1. He's known as the 'quiet Beatle'. I'm a very quiet person (I actually have social anxiety disorder) I don't like talking to strangers, and before I met my two best friennds, I basically sat in the library by myself at school. People thought I was a loser with no friends. But it was just because I was really quiet and shy.
George basically taught me to 'wow' people with my personality. And now, I'm much less quiet, and have a variety of friends :)
So basically, I'm fascinated with George's personality. I love how he acts around the rest of The band. He isn't so quiet with them. It's kind of like me, when I'm with my two best friends, I'm loud and outgoing, but when I'm not, I'm quiet and don't talk to people.
2. He wrote The best songs, in and out of The Beatles. Sorry Lennon/McCartney fans, but I think George wrote wonderful songs, and it's such a shame the rest of the band didnt appreciate his work.
They didn't really notice it until 'Here comes the sun' which I think is crazy, because he has been writing great songs all along. I think 'While my guitar gently weeps' is just genius. And the first song he ever wrote 'Dont bother me' is fantastic. He was a truly underrated song writer, in my opinion.
3. His looks and humour. He is so adorable! I just want to teleport back in time and give him a big hug! In my opinion, he rocked the mop top the BEST!
And he was hilarious! I smile every time I see a video of him!!
Oh, one more. I love his accent! I know all The Beatles have a scouse accent, but George's sounds a little different. I've tried immitating his accent, but I can't.
That's why it my life goal to find a man with a George Harrison accent and marry him!!!!

The first Beatle song I ever heard was Hey Jude, I think. The jazz band at my school played it when my brother was in jazz.
My first was Eleanor Rigby i think, i've kind of grown up with them
haha I like what your dad said! I don't really remember the first song I heard, probably because I heard it and didn't know it was the Beatles, but the first Beatles song I remember was Hey Jude in the car with my family, it came on the radio and my mom started singing along with the 'na na's at the end. :)
Wow I love George. I've known the beatles music thanks to my dad all my life. Currently I can't get don't bother me out of my head!
