Can Love be Replaced?
This is a Nightshade love story. I've only read the first book, so if I get anything wrong please don't yell at me. I'm just playing it out how I want it to be. Hope you enjoy
Oh, this is set a year later than in the first book, and it's their senior year- I know about the book, but it goes with the story line.
Accalie means she wolf in latin so I figured it was pretty and kinda perfect

"ACCALIA! GET DOWN HERE! IT"S TIME FOR SCHOOL!" my mother shouted at me. Taking one final look in the mirror I sigh and sreamed I'd be down in a minute. Grabbing my backback, I headed down stairs and ran out the door to my '73 international scout (my dream car:)). Off to my first day at Mountain High School, my new personal hell hole.
Apparently being a transfer, even at the beggining of the year, makes people stop and star. Plus my attire is 100% different than everything else here. Even the humans-along with all the Keeper children-love gucci and dulce&gabbana because that is about all I see. Compared to my skater punk style, I really don't fit in. Then I glance over at my 'fiance'. Him and his wolf pack have a slightly rougher appearance. But it doesn't bother me. As I walk pass them towards the main office I hear the biig muscley one say, "Is that her?" "Yeah, that's her bro", comes from my cocky 'fiance' Renier Laroche. Finally in the office, I find my little cousin, Ansel, and my second in command, Brynn. Hey guys. Hey Leah Ansel said. Brynn just nodde her hello. "What's up little cuz." rufflimg his hair, acting overly friendly. I've been running the pack for over three months now, and the only people who trust me are Ansel and Mason. Finally the receptionist meanders over and says "How can I halp you?" "Uhhh, yeha I'm the new student, Accalia Tor." After searching through countless stacks of papers she pulled out my schedual and a map of the school. "Here you go. Now get to class." she said. "Uhhh, okaaaay. Thanks?" i said turning on my heels with Ansel and Brynn close on my heels.
I could hear their mutted whispers, and I could tell that they were holding hands. "Guys, I don't mind you being together, but keep it oon the down low. We really know what happens when you disobey orders about something as simple as relationships", I told them in a voice only loud enough that they could hear, and flashed my canines just the slightest, so they knew it was an order.
Brynn and I conintued to our first class, english. I followed Brynn to her seat by the window on the far side of the classroom, and sat infront of her. Moments later Ren and his trusted sidekick Dax, strutted into class laughing and joking around. Ren took a seat next to me, and Dax behind him. Dax leaned forward, and said. "That's her, you gonna say something." and Ren just threw a hand up, meaning he was getting too it.
"Gosh, she has a name you know that right? Plus I'm suprised you don't remember me, Daxly" I said teasing him. "Wait... only one person calls me that. Accalia?!" "The one and only." I told him wagging my hips in my chair; trying to put on my happy person front. "God it's good to see you again." Ren just raised his brows, suprised that Dax was showing emotion towards anyone. "What happened. You used to be way . . . preppier?" Dax asked taking in my black skinny jean, and white shirt with married skulls, and webs on the black sleeves " Let's just say I've had a string of . . . unfortunate events, but we've all ahd our share." I say glancing towards Ren. Her just gives me his cocky smile. All I do is roll my eyes. If he thinks that's how he's going to win me over he has another thing coming for him. "So Ren..." I start to say as our irritating human teacher strolls in. "Pop-quiz today. Just to see if you actually did the reading." He starts hhanding out the quiz when Ren raises his hand an says "Mr. Snow, it's Accalia's first day, and she didn't know about the reading." "Oh well," he starts. "It's perfectly fine Ren. I've already read Lord of the Flies. But thank's for the concern. And I prefer to be called Leah." I finiished with a sly grin in his direction. "Great. I'm looking forward to a student who actually knows what we are discussing." Mr.Snow says and continues to pass out the quiz. "Alright you have 5 miinutes starting . . . now." I automatically dove into the quiz, while a still slightly shocked Ren starts robotically. I finiah with two minutes to spare, and sit there and observe the rest of the class. The Keepers children all sit in the back of the class, either cheating, or muttering spell so they can do well on what they dodn't do. Then there are the guardians, in our tight circle, but still in formation to attack if necessary. And inbetween the human huddle together, looking like they cannot wait to get out of school. Thinking I was cheating by looking around, Mr.Snow came over and picked up my test and took it over to his desk. He read over my answers and scribbled a 100% on top and gave it back to me. I just raised an eyebrow and smirked as he sheepishly gave me my test back. Which earned me a approving glance from my fellow guardians. Once Mr.Snows boring lecture finished, I dashed out of class trying to get the hell outta there.
Later,Brynn and I walked to our lockers, where we met up with Ansel. Listening to their random chatter, I switched out my books and grabbed my lunch. Ren walked over. "Can we talk? Alone." he said looking at Brynn and Ansel. I nodded "See you guys in there." "What's up Chuck?" "Well, Cally." "Please don't call me that"I requested "Well Cally" he continued "I was thinking maybe we should spend some time together and get to know each other." "Are you asking me out on a date?" "Do you want me to?" he lowered his voice, and put his arm on the locker, leaning in. Shrinking in, I turned my face away, as if I were afraid he were going to hit me. Confused, he pulled away and asked "Cally would you like to go dancing with me at Eden this Friday?" "Eden. Fancy. I'd love to." "I'll pick you up at eight." "Great. Now, lt's go eat. I'm starved." "After you." he said waving me ahead of him, really haming up the gentlemen act.
Sorry it's so short. I'm tired, but I wanted to r=write it now, but I'd like to get some sleep before my orientation tomorrow. I hope you like the story. I'll post again soon. I hope I made it so anyone can read this, but I will explain if you ask. Pkease comment and read the actual series. Thanks
