You were sitting in the Ravenclaw common room. It was a quite night. You weren't feeling sleepy. It was your 3rd year at Hogwarts, but you still weren't used to being away from your parents.

You yawned due to lack of entertainment. You looked around a little bit. Nothing to do. You sighed.

"Not feeling sleepy?" You heard a voice behind you. You turned around. It was Valerie Tradewind.

You chuckled. "Nope," you said. "Wanna join me?" You patted the empty seat beside you. You were sitting on a double seater sofa.

"Would be my pleasure," she said, grinning.

It felt good to talk to her. She was a nice friend of yours. You chatted about your holidays, how you spent it. She even asked if there was anyone you liked. You simply shook your head.

"You like anyone?" You asked her too, feeling excited.

She put a finger on her lips. "Sssh!" She shushed you. "It's a secret!" She exclaimed and laughed.

You laughed too, which lightened your mood.

"Is it Cedric?" You asked her, winking.

She blushed a little. "N-no," she said, trying to look away.

You chuckled. "It's okay if you don't want to tell," you said.

She nodded. "Somethings are better kept secret," she winked at you.

You laughed.

"But it's no secret when it comes to other people," she said, grinning. You raised an eyebrow. She took a deep breathe. "Oliver Wood likes you," she said.

You looked confused. "Who?" You asked.
