Inuyasha: Why do people hate Kikyo so much?

Because she's a little boring, a dead pristess walking around the entire series, and no outstanding actions... she's boring. hope that cleared it up. but that's my opinion on her, she's just a wasted character to me

Well its probably because she is so mean. I mean, she plays really dirty throughout the whole series and not only is she trying to take Inuyasha away, but attempting to kill kagome as well. Also she kind of teams of with Naraku, kinda, and that makes it worse. (i'm not a big fan of kikyo or kagome personally)
